Being a fan since the show first aired, I have gone through the ups and downs of this show,
Season 1:
Don't get me wrong, Season 1 was a brilliant start to the show, it had cheating, drama, fights, stalkers what more can you ask for in a show? I can still remember the day I watched the premiere, I was young i had no clue what was going on, i just learnt about the birds and the bees and we see ezra and aria fucking. As you can imagine a bit of a surprise!
Season 2:
This season was even better than the first season, the finale had me fucking shook to my core. Although the characters like Mona are always suspected it, she was never framed to be A and I loved that. I remember when spencer said "Cashmere sweaters" I was SCREAMING
oh and that iconic slap? one of my faves. And when Maya died i fucking cried my heart away, she was honestly the life that this show needed. I would sacrifice Emily for Maya any day of the week.
Season 3:
Seeing the aftermath of Maya's death was very cute, all the emotions and still being stalked by the new "A" thats when we find out that Toby is a part of the A-Team. me? SHOOKETH
Except from that and the lodge fire, Season 3 was pretty shit imo
Season 4:
Season 4 was meh, it wasn't the best but it was Okay, I'm just going to list my favourite parts from that season
- Jake and Aria
- Cece being Redcoat
- Alison being Alive
- "Did you miss me?"
- For once, Mona and Alison seemed frightened.
Season 5:
Season 5 was one of the better seasons, here we found out that Melissa buried Bethany Young to protect Spencer when she thought Spencer killed her. Which I always thought was kind of strange because Spencer and Melissa never had the best relationship, but i guess you cant get anything better than sisterly love. Mike and Mona's little love flick was so adorable, It was so cute. Things got really intense in the season when they discover Alison couldn't be "A" and Mona pretends to die. The start of the Dollhouse? AHHH
Season 6:
The calm before the storm, this is literally where PLL went to shit. It did have some good things though, the whole dollhouse was the most iconic episodes i've ever seen in any TV show. it was so well made and it was just so good. That brings us to the dollhouse keeper, "Charles" you know what this made me so fucking mad I don't even want to talk about it. WHY. THE. HELL. WAS. CECE. CHARLES. like i get u want to make controversial statements with the whole transgender thing but come the fuck on no Charles should have been a more important character to the role, like Ezra, he loves stories and books why didnt he be Charles hmm? Come on Marlene you fucked up you're own show.
Season 7:
This season was the most frightening, intense season yet. not better than season 1 but i still loved it, the build up to finding out who AD is, the board game, Emison, Spoby, Ezria, Haleb
all got reunited, even if toby fucked her sister by accident. Twincer was a good reveal, like it wasnt the best person to be AD but i'm at peace with it. The british accent tho made me cringe. AND WREN DIED OH MY GOD IM SO SAD. The Twincer fight was so iconic I cannot even, and at the end when Toby had to figure out which one of them is spencer and then the poem ahh omg so cute. AND EMISONS BABYS I CRIED they're so adorable. Addison can fuck off she can never beat alison if theres a spinoff. In my opinion they should've ended it at Alex & Mary being in the dollhouse. But no they decide to finish off how it ends.. hunny no if you're going to end a series. you better finish it all up i still have so many questions
Things I'm okay with:
-All the relationships but Mona & French guy, should've been with Mike
-Twincer being AD
Things im NOT okay with:
-The fact that they hinted at Maya being alive this whole finale and where is she at? (Aria dropping the wine glass and then the music playing, that was the same Music that was played when we discovered that Ali "Died" and Maya "Died", also Maya's niece is part of the new squad which I find really annoying because I want Maya not her fucking niece.
-Mary Drake being evil afterall, i really hoped she was good.
Thank you Marlene! thank you so much for the great 7 seasons you have produced, I may not have agreed with every single thing that happened in the show, but never the less I watched every episode and loved every second of it. I'm still upset its ending though with the main cast ;(
SEASON 1
Really good, I absolutely loved it and it got me hooked on PLL
SEASON 2
I see it a bit boring now but it was so interesting back then
SEASON 3
3 and 4 were really diverse seasons and i liked that one but don't remember much from it
SEASON 4
The most diverse season IMO, probably the one with the most useless characters that we'll never see again but it was interesting to see Jessica DiLaurentis go back to the main cast.
SEASON 5
My favorite season, I absolutely loved every part of it.
SEASON 6
Some episodes were interesting, some were pretty meh. And 6B was awful - 3 memorable things - 6x11, Spaleb stealing the show and the finale
SEASON 7
7A was complete bullshit and I hated it but 7B is possibly the best ever.
Really good, I absolutely loved it and it got me hooked on PLL
