Jeff Probst: “Previously on Survivor! After Matthew left Kenny in the dark about him switching to the girls alliance, he made an attempt to explain things to Kenny, who appreciated Matthew’s reasoning. The next day over at Sibu, Shayla was still feeling skeptical about Nicole’s always positive attitude and was trying her hardest to hold her tongue. While Nicole’s always positive attitude was just an act, she thought she had everyone fooled. At the reward challenge, Lea started off to an early lead, but Alexis quickly caught up and won the Aoba tribe’s first challenge. When the Sibu tribe went back to camp, Nicole expressed her forgiveness to Lea, and out of nowhere, Shayla snaps. Over at Aoba, things weren’t any brighter when Rhameen started to pick a fight with Kayley after being gone for a certain period of time, but Kayley actually was looking for the Hidden Immunity Idol and found it. At the immunity challenge, things were all tied up and the winner of a battle between Joseph and Rhameen would win the challenge for their tribe, but as suspected, Rhameen immediately knocked Joseph off the platform. Knowing her tribe would have to vote someone out, Shayla quickly started talking to Joseph on who they should vote out. Ultimately, the two targets were Leanne and Joseph, with Alexander and his alliance being the swing votes. In the end, Alexander decided to vote out Nicole’s puppet Leanne out of the game. 14 are left. Who will be voted out tonight?”
Joseph, Shayla, and Lea gather and celebrate. Joseph expresses his gratitude towards them and says he will never find a way to repay them for not voting for him.
Alexis puts on a show by pretending to be Mitch and telling everyone that “I am the winner! No one can stop me!” Everyone laughs and has seemed to lighten the mood.
~*REWARD CHALLENGE*~ Day 7
Jeff: “Come on in guys… Aoba tribe getting your first look at the Sibu tribe… Leanne voted out at the last Tribal Council.”
No one seems surprised.
Jeff: “Before we start todays Reward Challenge, we have some serious business to take care of.”
Jeff: “That’s right. Take a good look around because there is a possibility that the person right beside you could be on a separate tribe and voted out before you could say one thing to them.”
Jeff throws a bag of buffs to both tribes and they all draw one out. From Aoba, Kenny, Rosie, Matthew, and Kayley draw red buffs and stay on Aoba while Alexis, Rhameen, and Lisa draw yellow buffs and move to Sibu. From Sibu, Lea, Shayla, Jordan, and Nicole draw yellow buffs and remains on Sibu while Alexander, Joseph, and Devin draw red buffs and move to Aoba.
~*New Tribes*~
AOBA: Alexander, Devin, Joseph, Kayley, Kenny, Matthew, and Rosie.
SIBU: Alexis, Jordan, Lea, Lisa, Nicole, Rhameen, and Shayla.
Jeff: “These are your new tribes! Now… it’s time for the reward challenge. In this challenge one member from each team will have four large cubes with four different colors on them. Your goal is to have all four colors appear once on all four sides. The first person to get it right wins reward for their tribe. Want to know what you’re playing for? Today, you’re playing for comfort!”
They all cheer and say this one is important. Jeff goes on to say that there is a hammock, some pillows, two blankets, and a tarp. He then tells them to pick one member to compete in the challenge. Aoba chooses Rosie and Sibu chooses Jordan.
Rosie and Jordan get a good look at the blocks and are instructed by Jeff to start. Right off the bat, both tribes begin screaming what they think is right. Rosie instructs her tribe to hush if they want the comfort. Jordan encourages his tribe to give him tips and suggestions.
Jordan: “Jeff I got it!”
Nicole: *unenthusiastic* “There’s two blue on this side.”
Jordan: “Oh.”
Kayley begins to yell at Rosie that she knows what to do in order to win, but Rosie hushes her.
Kayley: “DO YOU WANT TO WIN?”
Rosie: “Kayley do not yell at me.”
Rosie soon figures out what to do and wins the challenge for Aoba!
Jeff: “Rosie wins reward for Aoba!”
All of Aoba cheer and celebrate. The Sibu tribe moan because they thought of this as an important reward. Jeff tells them to collect their reward and Sibu gets nothing. Both tribes head back to camp
While Nicole starts talking to Lisa and Rhameed, Shayla and Lea are talking about how Nicole is trying to get the others on her side. They bring Jordan in and solidify that those three are solid and that if they lose immunity, Nicole would be the one to go.
~*AOBA*~ Day 7
The tribe all go through their reward together, but Kenny has the game on his mind.
Kayley approaches Kenny. She starts talking to him about how alone she’s been feeling lately. Kenny expresses his exact feelings and they think it would be smart for them to watch each other’s backs.
Lea starts talking to Lisa. Lea immediately starts the conversation with “you can’t trust Nicole, you know that right?”, which took Lisa by surprise. The entire conversation consisted of Lea bashing Nicole on how fake she is. Lea warns Lisa on how Nicole is a good liar.
Lisa: “O.K., but we’ll have to keep an eye out on her. She could be fooling us.”
~*IMMUNITY CHALLENGE*~ Day 9
Jeff tells them to come in, takes the immunity back from Aoba, and explains the challenge. For this challenge, two people from each tribe will go out at a time to receive two bags of puzzle pieces; there are 6 bags in total. Once each tribe has all of their bags of puzzle pieces, two members from each tribe will try to solve a very complicated puzzle. The first tribe to successfully complete their puzzle wins Immunity!
The tribes take their places and Jeff signals the go. In the first go, Kenny and Devin went for Aoba while Rhameen and Jordan went for Sibu. Kenny and Devin were the first tribe back, with Rhameen and Jordan close behind. Once Kenny and Devin dropped off their pieces, they both ran right back out there while Rhameen and Jordan switched for Alexis and Shayla. Kenny and Devin significantly slowed down and Alexis and Shayla gained the lead. Once Alexis and Shayla got back, Rhameen and Lea went out to retrieve the last 2 bags of puzzle pieces. When Kenny and Devin finally got back, they switched out for Matthew and Alexander. Once Lea and Rhameen came back, Lisa and Jordan began working on the puzzle. Soon after, Matthew and Alexander returned with the last bags, tightening the gap between the tribes. Kayley and Alexander started working on the puzzle for Aoba. It took a while for a tribe to even find the first piece a slot, but, Lisa and Jordan got the first piece. Once they got the first piece, the rest fell into place and won immunity before the other tribe could even get one piece in.
Jeff: “Sibu wins immunity!”
The Sibu tribe celebrates and hugs.
Jeff sends Sibu back with Immunity and back Aoba with nothing.
~*AOBA*~ Day 9
Right when everyone gets back from the challenge, talk immediately starts to ensue. Rosie pulls Matthew, Kayley, and Kenny aside to discuss the vote. Matthew suggests voting the weakest member of the tribe, Joseph. At the same moment, Devin is talking with Joseph and Alexander about how Kenny was kissing up to him and looked desperate for an alliance. They all think that Kenny is the key to them staying.
Once the groups break up, Alexander and Devin approach Kenny.
Devin: “So… the other day, when we were talking, I knew you weren’t doing it to be nice. I was just wondering if us 3 and Joseph could vote as a block and get the other three out? Starting with Leanne?”
Kenny: “Man I thought I wasn’t being that obvious. Oh well. Yeah man I’m for sure down.”
Devin then explains to Kenny how the four of them could run the game if they all make it to merge together. Kenny says he’s with them and they all break up. Soon after that, Kenny talks to Kayley alone.
Kenny: “So, what if we don’t vote Joseph?”
Kayley: “What do you mean?”
Kenny: “What if we go with the guys and vote out Leanne?”
Kenny: “I mean, we both know we are at the bottom of our original tribe.”
Kayley and Kenny talk about their options and come to a decision.
Kayley: “So we’re sure?”
Kenny: “Yep.”
~*TRIBAL COUNCIL*~ Night 9
Everyone enters and sits. Jeff starts asking questions.
Jeff: “Matthew, how do you like your new tribe?”
Matthew: “I like it! I have four old tribe mates that I like here with me and the new guys seem cool too.”
Jeff: “How about you Kayley?”
Kayley: “Yeah it’s cool. There have just been some eye opening things that have happened with this tribe switch.”
Rosie nods her head.
Jeff: “Rosie, why are you nodding your head?”
Rosie: “Because I feel the same way. Kayley hasn’t been the same Kayley since the tribe switch. We haven’t gotten along very well and she has been very disrespectful to everyone around her.
Kayley: “Why do I owe you respect? What have you done for me to respect you?”
Rosie: *angrily* “It’s a common curtesy. It comes with maturity.”
Kayley laughs.
Jeff: “How do you think the vote will go tonight Kenny?”
Kenny: “I’m not going to lie here. There are two sides and both of them need my vote. I am the swing vote and what I say goes tonight.”
Everyone looks at Kenny like he’s crazy
Jeff: “What a great send-off. Matthew, go vote.”
Everyone gets up and votes.
Rosie holds up her vote that says Joseph, “I don’t know what that was about back there, but Kenny should be voting you with his alliance, not yours.”
Joseph holds up his vote that says Rosie, “Sorry. You seem like a pretty good woman. Hopefully Kenny doesn’t pull a fast one on us tonight.”
Jeff tallies the votes.
Jeff: “If anyone has a Hidden Immunity Idol and wants to play it, not would be the time to do so…”
No one stands.
Jeff: “Once the votes are read the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately, I’ll read the votes.”
Jeff: “First vote, Joseph.”
Joseph begins praying again.

Matthew’s mouth is wide open, Kayley laughs, Alexander and Joseph breathe a sigh of relief, Kenny stays emotionless. Rosie gets up without showing any emotion either.”
Jeff: “Rosie, the tribe has spoken. *Snuffs torch.* Time for you to go.”
Rosie leaves without waving.
Jeff: “Well, I have a feeling this one was a shocker. Don’t always expect the expected. Head back to camp, goodnight.”
Rosie: “That damn Kayley fooled me. I’m not very surprised or mad. If I was Kayley I would have gotten me out too. I was coming after her next anyways. As for the rest of the tribe, I hope them the best, they’ll need it.”
