I don't think the Mets will have the same run that they did last year. I'm a Cubs fan, so I hate predicting them to go to the WS, but it's a reasonable prediction these days lmfao.
AL East - Blue Jays
AL Central - Royals
AL West - Rangers
AL Wild Card 1 - Red Sox
AL Wild Card 2 - Tigers
NL East - Nationals (sorry lol)
NL Central - Cubs
NL West - Giants
NL Wild Card 1 - New York Mets
NL Wild Card 2 - St. Louis Cardinals
AL Wild Card - Tigers
NL Wild Card - New York Mets
ALDS - Tigers over Royals
ALDS - Blue Jays over Rangers
NLDS - Cubs over Mets
NLDS - Nationals over Giants
ALCS - Tigers over Blue Jays
NLCS - Cubs over Nationals
WS - Cubs over Tigers
obviously this is probably way off, but I'm feeling a strong post season run from the Tigers. Their team is very good, they just need to do something with it this time around.
I feel like the NL Central/AL Central are gonna be 2 divisions that will go down to the wire this year.
NL Central has to deal w/ the Cubs/Pirates/Cardinals
and the AL Central has to deal w/ the Sox/Tigers/Royals
I think all 6 of those teams have a chance at making a playoff run.
mickjagger you obviously don't follow the hot stove at all.. the red sox were really good, had a down year, then made major offseason moves and they have tons of financially flexbility and assets in the farm to make a major move or two at the deadline. ohheydudeski
Brendonbyrne the Tigers have had a good team for years now, they just have been struggling. I think they made some good offseason moves which could potentially give them a Wild Card spot.
I don't doubt that the Tigers will make some trades before the deadline as the season draws to an end. I bet the Tigers play for a spot. Depending on who they pick up, I feel like they could be a contender.
