I'll be watching all the new TV pilots this year on the major networks, if you'd like to be tagged in my reviews of each of them let me know. It'll extend past the pilots if I like the show, obviously.
Wow does this show have "charm". I loved the pilot, I'll say that much. I definitely think they tried to do a lot in the pilot, perhaps too much. There were four(?!?) main character along with their families, they each have the same birthday. I assume the plot of this show is that they will all become interconnected somehow, as that is what the premise of the show seemed to be from the intro.
All of the characters are strong in their roles, the show definitely leaves you feeling one way or another. My favorite is Justin Hartley's character, but that's more or less because I love him. There was definitely a smart plot twist at the end of the episode that I hadn't realized until the very end. I gotta say, this is a show I definitely see myself watching past this point. I just hope the story doesn't fizzle out because they tried to do too much too fast. We'll see!
