I'll be watching all the new TV pilots this year on the major networks, if you'd like to be tagged in my reviews of each of them let me know. It'll extend past the pilots if I like the show, obviously.
Ooh boy this is a doozy. This is a procedural drama attempt at knocking off Law and Order and somehow moving it into the modern era of technology. A bunch of cheesy social media overlays are used throughout the pilot, and in part are the crux of the show in how Bull performs his analysis of jurors. It's all super technological and really if any of it were true would make you lose complete faith in our judicial system. Anyways, all that aside this show was just really corny and while it holds your attention half the time you're just left saying "really?"
The storyline for the first episode was honestly somewhat predictable, and in the end it just felt like a short TV movie that was rushed. I know it had a strong premiere to over 15 million, but I would be surprised if it was able to hold those ratings. I know my parents watched it and hated it, and its honestly understandable that they would. Its good for killing 42 minutes if you're bored, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.
