we shouldn't support being overweight as being healthy but fat shaming is the wrong way to go about it
i 100% agree. i'm all for confidence and stuff, and i absolutely love curves, but if you're morbidly obese, you aren't healthy. good for you if you're okay with that, but if you want to live a longer, fuller life, with the capabilities to do more things, be smarter with what you're doing to your body. i'm always having to be so careful when debating about this topic because i really don't want to offend anyone :/
Not everyone is going to be a stick, hate to say it. Bone structure has an influence on the size of a person, as well as genetics. My brother is 6'5 and looks like a beanpole. He takes after our Mother's side of the family, they are all tall, stick figure people. I take after my Dad's side of the family. We're tall, but have a bigger build to us.
I personally don't care if someone is fat or skinny...I do however get concerned when someone's obesity effects their health. If someone is overweight and they contain it enough to where they don't have any health problems, I really don't see that big of a deal.
