Winning First HoH In Big Brother

imageIve wondered recently how "lethal" it is to win first HoH, I know most people say they dont wanna win first hoh to make enemies or anything but then i started to look at some statistics to see whether or not winning first hoh is good or bad

There have been 18 first HoHs (including allstars (janelle/jase), BB9- pairs, and BB16 BOTB)

have won first hoh and have gone onto win the game:
BB3- Lisa Donahue
BB12- Hayden Moss
BB13- Rachel Reilly
3/18= 16.7%

have won first hoh and have made the final 5:
BB3- Lisa Donahue
BB7- Janelle Pierzina
BB10- Jerry MacDonald
BB12- Hayden Moss
BB13- Rachel Reilly
BB15- McCrae Olsen
BB16- Caleb Reynolds
BB16- Frankie Grande
9/18= 50%

have won first hoh and have made the jury portion of the game
BB2- Mike Boogie

this being said winning first HoH is never really a good or bad thing, its how you handle the power you are given and making sure you are making the right nominations. Most times, winning first HoH ensures that you are involved in a strong alliance that runs the early parts of the game before it ultimately deteriorates because of distrust in the latter stages of the game.

yeah first HOH isn't really that bad.  People are the most forgiving of those nominations cause it's not really based on much and they don't know each other yet.

That's what I was thinking. Go for week 1 HOH and build relationships because people are forced to talk to you

lmao ty sexgoddx totally thought frankie got 6th during rewind most of this was off memory so some of this might be wrong :l
