I dont really care that the drinking age is 21.... because Im never gonna drink anyway. Ive seen it ruin too many peoples lives especially people in my family. Ever since i was a kid i have been traumatized by alcohol and its effects. Its a terrible thing and I don't need to have a "drink" to have fun. The person I date will not be able to drink either and ill never go to bars. The risk of becoming an alcoholic is just too high in my family for me to take that chance :/ So to my future partner heres a heads up: if you want to be with me you'd better put down the alcohol baby!
PS: I have no problem with people that drink. And its there life and they choose what they want to do, but I usually never form any type of relationship with anyone that drinks and i definitely would never date them. I lose respect for someone when they get drunk but again i dont have a problem with people that drink.
I agree... the drinking age here in England is 18. And the chaos which happens on Friday and Saturday night at clubs and pubs is just terrible. Majority of fights and drama is causes by young binge drinkers
