First off, I just want to say that I will give Sunkern a point when it comes to being cute, I find Sunkern to be one of the cuter Pokemon of Johto. However, the bad sides to Sunkern are its lackluster movepool & lackluster stats, and then just the fact that I'm not a big Grass type fan to begin with, doesn't really help it any lol. As for design, it's okay, and makes sense for what it evolves into, but it just doesn't stand out to me.
I would actually have put its evolution lower than this simply because Sunkern is an iconic level of lackluster stats, AND it's a champ in the Pokeathlon, but understandable!
