Hoothoot is yet another pokemon where I'm not really sure to start off at. I guess will just start off by saying that this is pretty much just the first encounter bird you get in Johto, and out of all the first encounter birds, I'd actually say Hoothoot is probably my least favorite. Anyways, Hoothoot is an okay mon, sure its typing of Normal/Flying is fairly common, but it's still an okay typing. The bad things about Hoothoot to me, are just its lackluster movepool & average stats/abilities, and it's those as well as it just being the first encounter bird, that doesn't really make it appeal to me.
