The first design of the gym was stupid and literally nothing but a circle, so at least they changed it and it was really cute
But the true reason he has the worst fucking team of any gym leader in history: A METAPOD AND A KAKUNA????????????? Like why even waste time with that filler? Might as well have just given him the scyther. Or just use other pokemon? Like IDK THE EVOLUTIONS OF TWO CACOONS???? Or even Ledyba since that was a new bug type in the beginning of the game, or heracross? Why add interesting pokemon into the game then not utilize them when you can?
So yeah goodbye forever Bugsy I can’t believe they didn’t update the team lineup for generation 4
Agree again, he has no real personality either.
All the bug trainers are like 'Bug Pokémon are the best, I know everything about bug Pokémon, they are so beautiful' :p
