If Hillary and Barak had gotten up and said that we should do something like this I WOULD. I promise you I would. But she asked us to accept it. I'm trying. Its so hard, I know, but I'm trying.
I'm not a "whiny little brat" btw, I'm just terrified. I'm terrified that Trump will DO the things he said he would do. I'm less concerned about Obamacare, I mean he can fuck with that all he wants to as long as in the end people are cared for. I'm more concerned about Marriage Equality, Freedom of Religion, and half my family being deported with no where to go. I believed, I mean I truly believed that I lived in a country which was moving forward. It is a complete shock to everything I've ever "known" that there were that many bigots in this country to come out of the woodwork! Democrats came out in droves, it's not like this was an election where people held back. Plus there were the "NeverTrumpers" If they truly voted against Trump then there were just that many more bigots to fill the ranks. I had no idea, and I don't know how to handle it. I don't want to leave the country, but it's a horrible feeling to suddenly have the wool ripped off of your eyes and realize how much the country that you've always loved actually hates you. I truly don't know how to handle this, but I'm trying. Right now I'm just sad. so so sad
