Would YOU kill Beethoven?

My teacher the other day put this question up on the board:
A mother of 8 children is pregnent with her 9th child. 3 of the children are blind, 2 are deaf and 1 has a mental disability. Would you advise the mother to have an abortion?
She later told us that if we said yes to the question, we would be killing the well known musician, Beethoven.
Now obviously back then they didn't have the techonology we have now, but imagine having 6 kids who may be living a difficult life, and imagine being the mother who has to take care of them all. It would be a lot of work. What do you guys think?

I thought that back then they would've drowned deformed babies when they got born?? As horrible as it may sound back then I may have done the same thing, because they didn't have the technology and stuff to take care of the babies good, ya know?

well thats you're opinion, but i really wouldn't have. But if i was the mother, i probably wouldn't have had that many kids, especially after what has happened to all of the others.
