the pastor addressed atheist homosexuals who are against christians because they think that they're all homophobic, and made some very good points
it made me think about a lot of the gay people who i've spoken to who use hypocritical homophobic christians as their main reason to not believe in god
which I mean I get it but if you're gonna let a select minority of christians (I say minority because most christians AREN'T homophobic) ruin your opinion of god then you need to realize that those judgemental christians aren't any better than the gay people they're preaching against
that's all i gotta say

good point here and i definitely can see where you're coming from here
that's fine, but for example, would you want to go to a school where, let's say 20-30 percent of the student body activly bullied you and made fun of you?
clone that's how a lot of gay people view Christianity. While there would be most certainly be people who would be accepting. The constant controversy of them being there and snide remarks about the core of their soul being called a sin.
It's really not a healthy place to be.
the 20 or so percent of discrimination and disdain makes it seem like a really unfitting place.
