I need to respond to this blog

You know, when people lose a friend or a family member for any reason, they can feel depressed, alone, sad, etc.

For a lot of us on here, this site is full of a lot of people we are friends with. Some of us have way more friends on here than in "real-life", although i'd consider this real life since I talk to a bunch of people here on a daily basis on and off the site.

Getting to my point, when my father died last August in the midst of me hosting groups, did I just abandon and leave the site? No. Did I notify people who might give a crap? Yes.

Joining a game on here and talking to people about different things HELP. When my father died, I kept hosting, I went back to work, started a new semester at college. Because it HELPED get my mind off of things.

It is absolutely ridiculous to criticize someone's way to mourn their friend or family member. If you want to be left alone, then so be it, but if you want to surround yourself with people that care, it's probably healthier, especially in the emotional state you may be in following something so tragic as this.

I don't care if this gets plussed or negged, it just had to be said.

Gaiaphagee Here if you need to talk to someone, you know that!
