PART 3/10
#40: Brazil(season 18)
-Before many hosts opted to do a “crossover” type of game featuring some of their best players, another pair of hosts did the same. Myself and BestHeroD decided to put on a season featuring some of his best vs some of my best. Safe to say the season was underwhelming, with a few bright moments but nothing too amazing. The cast was very good, but the game was ok at best.
#39: Caribbean(season 26)
-Sometimes, a player can compete so many times and still never win a thing. It took the winner of this game years to finally take the title of Sole Survivor. I’m sure jbmbb11 would agree that this was his favorite season to play. Unfortunately, the game was quite predictable after the merge. The finish was very unpredictable as it came down to 1 vote.
#38: Fans vs Favorites(season 3)
-I have been asked numerous times why do a “Fans vs Favorites” game after just 2 seasons? The cast from the prior season was good, really good. I wanted to have them all come back and have another go at winning, also prior to when I had a limit on appearances. The game that had the debut of RShowFreak. What a fun time this game was back then, but when you stack it up against what has came after it since, there is no match.
#37: China(season 4)
-One of the more unique seasons in the early Gen 1. While I liked this cast and felt the Final 2 was rather good, this season just doesn’t have anything notable to remember it for. The game that gave us futurewinner1 and @jag0827/ snails. I would call this one of the early gems in the first 5 seasons, but nothing that makes it stand out in the whole series.
#36: Japan(season 24)
-Ah yes, the season that gave us “Jayshawna”, but featured some of the more memorable players that participated in this series: GentlemanG, Robinhood99, Joeker, Chantra1. This season offered the “Temple” twist, which was a form of Redemption Island, but with an immediate return. 2 tribes would lose, vote out 1 member each, those 2 duel, 1 goes home, 1 gets back immediately. It didn’t play out well, and quickly left the game when the tribes swapped.
