First, THANK YOU everyone that voted to save me the 3 times I was up for nomination, it felt so great! :) Ok, huge boring blog noone will read...
I almost tried for Stars 51, I even signed up for it, then about 20 minutes before Stars 50, I just said 'Go For It!'... So I joined. No pre-mades, no alliances, nothing.
After the first nominations, it came to my attention of a large pre-made alliance. I was part of an alliance that tried to flip it on the alliance while in the minority of the house. It didn't work. Someone from the other side leaked the plan and went back on it. Then the following noms, I was nommed against Mike, one of my best friends in the game. I thought for sure I would be evicted. Then 'Stars Glitch '09' happened and Mike was 'evicted' 40 minutes after noms were revealed. 4 hours before eviction, it was fixed and people got to re-vote, the vote was close, but I survived my first nom.
I knew I would be targeted and put against well-liked people to get me out from becoming a 'flavour'. There wasn't much I could do as I was in the minority and noone in the large alliance would budge. Except, I became very close with Colby. Colby told me everything what was going on every vote and I knew when I would go up and when he thought I would be fine. Then 9th place nominations happened and I was up against Jayne, yet another person I had gotten really close with and another past stars winner I was placed against. I survived again....
After I survived this, I started to play hard. People in the pre-made and the people they added on were turning on each other and this gave me the opportunity to 'get in'. I changed sides a couple times to ensure my safety and made people believe I was on their side. I lied and was lied to. I made it through 4 more nominations and into the top 4! Then my 3rd nomination happened. This time against Cayke. At first I was really worried, but then I realized I was gettting a TON of support! (Thanks all!)
I went from 5% away from getting 14th to the Top 3! And now I am in the finals! I seriously cannot believe it! This is soo exciting and I honestly cannot believe I have come so far from being targeted for potential 'Flavour'. I worked my way through a 6 person pre-made and their 'add-on' alliance. I worked hard in the game not to become a 'flavour' and I believe I played a good game to get where I am now. That and everyone saving me when I was up for eviction! :D
