I find Sarah SOOOOO fucking boring.
And keep in mind I liked her in Cagayan and was happy about her getting to return, I do think she deserved it, but man she's really been a snore so far.
Now, granted, she's been fairly invisible up until the merge, and there's still a good amount of game left to be played. She COULD pull a Natalie Anderson and go intro overdrive badass mode, but I personally doubt it.
She's played a pretty solid game, but if you know me, you know I don't give a fuck about that. She has very little value as a character.
Here are Sarah Lacina's established character traits:
-is a cop
-comes from fairly conservative background but is very tolerant of others (this is actually a genuinely interesting bit)
-is currently a police officer
-got fucked over by Kass I guess, that's still part of her storyline right?
-little known fact but M̶a̶r̶i̶ ̶p̶l̶a̶y̶s̶ ̶v̶i̶d̶e̶o̶ ̶g̶a̶m̶e̶s̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶a̶ ̶l̶i̶v̶i̶n̶g̶ Sarah Lacina is a cop!!!
She has a very dull and slow way of speaking in confessionals, she never really says anything interesting ("most people wouldn't be able to tell if the car in front of them has expired registration, but I WOULD!!!". If this passes as an entertaining accomplishment I can't wait until i'm on Survivor where I can brag about how much milk I can drink or being able to tell you which album a White Stripes song is from).
I know this blog's purpose is to shit on her, but that's not to say I dislike her. The thing is, I honestly don't know if there's a single Survivor winner that I dislike, they're all pretty great, and so when you have such tough competition, being so painfully average and normal is such a hindrance.
If she continues on the track that she's currently on character wise, she's probably going to be like a bottom 5 winner for me.
But i LOVE President Lacina. The fact that she is playing the exact same way that she incorrectly played in Cagayan, except this time it's working, is truly magical.
