I really dont get how this one got the ok from production
I mean- like brains vs brawn vs beauty- that I find interesting, kinda like pitting social, physical and strategic games against each other, that's kinda cool
Worlds Apart- ok the whole collars thing isn't really that interesting and No Collar is a completely made up term, but at least there's like kind of an inherent rivalry there, ya know which life philosophy is best suited for the game of Survivor
Millennials vs Gen x. Stupid and cringey to all's fuck, but it at least makes sense, these two generations have big clashes in their general viewpoints, it makes sense that they'd go head to head
but, Healers vs Hustlers vs Heroes? What the fuck does that even mean? There's no clash here, there's no uniting force. You can say a general statement like "oh Blue Collars are hard working and pretty loyal" or "villains like to get their hands dirty and hurt some feelings" but all 3 H's are just random terms pulled out of Probst's dimpled ass. There's nothing to really bring the members of one of THESE tribes together, other than they work in a kind of similar field. it's not like Firefighters and Teachers and Salespeople angerly shake their fists at one another or call each other cucks via message boards.
also, arent Healers and Heroes kind of the same thing in a broad view?
notsae Honestly apply now. You're not going to get casted your first time, nearly no one ever has. Applying now will make casting go "oh, I know this guy" when they see your next application, and since the next application will be MUCH better once you've done it once and know what to include and what not to, your chances are much better. as for filming times, I dont know yet. Also if you want/need any help with your audtion vid, feel free to hit me up! I actually get asked a lot for help on them lol
I LAUGHED SO HARD @ it's not like Firefighters and Teachers and Salespeople angerly shake their fists at one another or call each other cucks via message boards.
as retarded as it is, i don't understand why people are saying it doesn't make sense. the theme is horribly worded and completely irrelevant, but it works. it's the equivalent of a theme that divides people who prefer chocolate ice cream vs. people who prefer vanilla ice cream vs. people who prefer mint ice cream. it's retarded division that has no real prevalence in the real world, but it does a good job of seperating folk.
as i see it, the sections are:
heroes - brazen, headstrong leaders (ex: firefighter)
healers - people who do positive work that is more subtle/behind-the-scenes (ex: nurse)
hustlers - selfish individuals who are only looking out for themselves (ex: prof. poker player)
iliketoparty Healers are service jobs (like teachers or therapists or yoga instructors), Heroes are life savers (lifeguards, firefighters), Hustlers are like salesmen.
@Dumbgiger hmm thats interesting, cause when i think of healers ithink, doctors, therapists, psychologist, and heroes more of teachers, and that relm i guess
TEA. This season's theme is really fucking weird, but I'm sure they'll find ways to group the contestants together. I can see Probst now trying his hardest to rub his 2 brain cells together to come up with collective sentences such as, "the Hustlers are go-getters, goal-oriented, and will do anything to get what they want."
The main distinction between Healers and Heroes is Healers can be branched out to spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional healing. Occupations like yoga instructor, personal trainer, and psychologist are likely to fall under here. "Hero" occupations will be seen as honorable or noble, so things like veteran, firefighter, doctor, Peace Corps volunteer.
