I wouldn't post this on tengaged if it didn't mean a lot to me. I am someone who tries not to ask for help. But this isn't about me.
This is about the wonderful person I've come to know as a second mother to me. My step mother Bonnie, has been having health problems recently. They have found a tumor in her brain, located near her memory. My step mother has opted out of operating or radiation(we aren't sure if its cancerous, she doesn't want to know i believe..) due to the fact that the risks involved could leave her unable to remember anyone, or continue life as a normal person. She is a woman who has not only SURVIVED cancer once but has also brought two amazing girls into the world, girls I consider my only siblings. But besides all of the health problems she's had to battle through, she has worked extremely hard for her family, starting her own cleaning business around 3 years ago and working 7 days a week normally.
Earlier this week, her sister Martha passed away in her sleep who also had some health issues. She left behind two children 6, and 7, and a great husband. Her husband can no longer work, since he went into the military earlier on in their marriage to help his family and our country, he came home with a horrible brain injury. After several intense operations they were able to save his life and he has worked very hard to get where he is in life, but he still has his problems, mental issues but physically is back to perfect condition, can walk, talk and is nothing but a selfless loving guy. He battles with severe depression and PTS from his injury and the governments helps him a little for his service rightfully.
My step mother has selflessly stepped many times to not only help her family, but strangers and friends too. Shes stepped up as she has so many times before for her family to help her brother in-law and her niece and nephew get through these hard times on their family.
1$, 5$ anything will help. My dad can only do so much as well to help. And I can only do so much as well, but you guys know what? This blog wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Bonnie. Around 5 years ago Bonnie showed me the show "big brother' and well the rest is history.
She has been a great help in my life and a great role model, please find it in your heart to help her and her family. < 3
