I ask her if the cat has been doing better today and she looks at me with awkward silence...
Then she carries on to tell me that she had to watch him die and it's pretty sad but I for some reason felt even worse for my mum having to watch all that (she's a very sensitive person)
But yeah, I mean we tried to get him healthier over the past few days so.... at least we could say bye to him :/
Funnehliner I remember when my rabbit passed away. He was very ill. He had a tooth condition which meant he had to go to vet for an operation every 4-6 months. Afterwards, he'd go back to his happy, energetic self.
But that time, he hadn't. Because he was old, there wasn't much the vets could do but hope and wait.
My sister decided to stay downstairs with him at around 3am, she called us all down.
And we all saw him go.
It was heartbreaking because he was such a sweet member of our family. I hope you're okay and if you want to chat, I'm here. :(
