here's what happened

hardcore fans dislike Elissa
hardcore fans are aware of the nominees before casual fans are
casual fans voted for Aaryn, not knowing that Aaryn was up.
That being said, 99% of all the casual fans votes were negated.
hardcore fans voted for Elissa mixed with idiotic Brenchel fans

therefore, the 8-9% of the votes Elissa got was enough to send her packing
