So, first, I should apologize for the long wait. These last couple of days, I needed a bit of time away from the website to catch a breath. After all, the toxicity this website can bring sometimes can get tough to handle. Also, I may or may not be gone for vacation soon, so do keep that in mind. Now that I'm back for now at least, let's get on to the midseason finale!
JJ woke from his bed at his home. It was a weekend off from high school and his was finishing up a project he had to do for science class. At his house were a younger Alycia, a younger Brooke, and a younger Beckett, all of them there to help with the project. Daniel was invited to come as well, but he had his own med research he had to do. Alycia and Brooke were sitting at the kitchen table having a cup of coffee while Beckett was sleeping on the couch with a book lying on top of his face.
Alycia: Morning JJ!
JJ: Good morning girls! You’re up early!
Brooke: (shrugs) Well, being here with you all is almost like I have a family here. My mother is still at the hospital.
JJ: Yeah, I know.
Alycia: So how much of your project do you need done today? I’m pretty much already finished with my other work.
JJ pours himself a cup of coffee, pouring himself some sugar and milk.
JJ: (as he stirs his coffee) I’d need to go over to the hardware store and get some wood and a blowtorch. Then I can begin building a home for the little fella my teacher’s going to be giving me to raise for a few weeks starting on Monday.
It was no later JJ said that than his father woke up and traversed to the kitchen.
JJ’s father: Morning troubles!
All: Morning dad!
JJ’s father: (turning to JJ) I need to give you a little something before you go to the hardware store. Come with me.
JJ: Alright. (turns to his friends) Be right back!
JJ then follows his father to the master bedroom of their home. Once they go in, JJ’s father close the door and went over to his closet.
JJ’s father: (rummages through his closet) I suppose you know what I do for a living, right?
JJ: Yeah… Don’t you hunt or something?
JJ’s father: Yeah, I hunt boar. I cook’em a lot too for dinners such as some of the stuff I’ve given you to eat over the years.
JJ: Why did you want me here anyway?
JJ’s father: Because son, I have something I want to give you. It’s a family token passed done from generation to generation.
JJ’s father came back out of the closet, producing a Swiss Army Knife.
JJ: Whoah!
JJ’s father: Yeah, pretty neat, isn’t it? It’s helped me protect you when you were little. You’re not so little anymore, and my time as a hunter is nearly coming to an end I’m afraid. Your dad’s getting old, son.
JJ: I know dad.
JJ’s father: Now, before I give you this, you must promise something.
JJ: Okay?
JJ’s father: You are to only use this for protection. We are a family that helps others in need, so by giving you this, you are agreeing to uphold our proud family tradition. When you have a child, you will have this same conversation with them when you feel they are ready.
JJ: I promise.
JJ’s father: Good. (hands JJ the knife) Now you said you needed to go to the hardware store?
JJ: Yeah. It’s for my project.
JJ’s father: (nods before responding) Good. I’ll take you later.
--End Flashback—
Brooke now faced her father in fear as he began to approach her after he knocked Katalia out of his way. She reached her hand inside the pocket of her pants and produced the Swiss Army Knife JJ had given her, never taking her eyes off her father. Her father continued coming closer to her, a gluttonous look all over his face signaling to Brooke that if she doesn’t best him now, she would become his rape victim.
Brooke’s father: What are going to do with that little toy of yours? We both know you’re pathetic trash, just like your mother.
Brooke’s emotions rose as she took in her father’s taunts. She drew out the main blade of the knife she was holding and charged at her father, hoping to slash him. She was met with a kick to the stomach, sending her knocking back. She landed on the floor with a thud. As she got her surroundings back together, she felt her wrists pinned to floor by a pair of hands and a mouth on her neck.
Brooke’s father: (facing Brooke again and looking her in the eyes) Did you seriously think YOU could stand against ME?
Brooke felt a headbutt from her father, rendering her hapless.
Brooke’s father: No. You can’t do anything. You’re too weak to do anything. (unzipping Brooke’s pants and ripping off her underwear) Now, you’re MY bitch!
All of a sudden, a hand flung Brooke’s father off of her and into the couch. Brooke lifted her head up in pain and saw it wasn’t Katalia, but a human wearing a yellow hood. The yellow hood came off and revealed itself to be Alycia.
Brooke: (in a weak surprised voice) Alycia?
Just as Brooke’s father got up off the couch, a sword made of ice formed from Alycia’s hand.
Alycia: (approaching Brooke’s father in cold hatred) If you’re going to rape my best friend, next time, don’t be so loud about it.
Brooke’s father: Wha—
But it was no good. Alycia took a swing at his chest and opened up a huge gash with her ice sword, sending him falling to the ground. As he landed, he rolled over to face up to the sky. Alycia’s blow was enough to severely weaken him, but not enough to outright kill him.
Alycia: (coldly) Now, you monster, I’m not the one who’s going to kill you for what you just tried to do.
From Alycia’s free hand revealed to be the knife Brooke just tried to use against her father earlier. Alycia walked over to Brooke and helped her up, bringing her over to her father. Brooke looked Alycia in the eyes, grateful for her last minute rescue.
Alycia: (giving Brooke back the Swiss Army Knife) I believe you are the one who should finish him off.
Katalia: Wait! Let me help!
Alycia and Brooke turned to see Katalia standing right where they were.
Katalia: This guy took me hostage yesterday. I don’t want to be left out of the fun.
Alycia: (nodding) Alright. We all aim for the heart.
Brooke’s father: Wha— No!
Brooke: (her tone of voice cold) You’re not my father. You’re a monster, and now you will finally get what you deserve.
Alycia set JJ’s Swiss Army Knife to the main blade setting. Brooke wrapped her hand around Alycia’s and Katalia wrapped hers on top of Brooke’s. The three hands held on to the knife, aiming careful so that it was positioned above his heart.
Alycia, Brooke, and Katalia: (chanting) BEGONE!
Brooke’s father: (screams “No”)
The Swiss Army Knife slammed down as the girls thrust it into his heart, ending Brooke’s father tyranny once and for all. The ripped it out and let him bleed. A few moments of silence followed as they drank in his death.
Katalia: (breaking the silence in a state of surprise) How did you even find us?
Alycia: I was on my way to the West End Music Theater when I heard the noises. That’s when I knew what was going on.
Katalia’s face suddenly grew color.
Katalia: Oh my God! Isn’t there a show going on or something right now!? My friend applied there yesterday!
Alycia: There is a show, but I only have my ticket. The show is supposed to be in half an hour.
Brooke: (getting her pants back on) We should still go. I don’t want to be here any longer.
Katalia: I think we can all agree on that one.
Alycia: How are we getting there though? I don’t have a car anymore after the accident.
This gave Brooke an idea. She faced Katalia.
Brooke: Katalia, didn’t you turn into a jackal earlier?
Katalia: Huh? What’s that got to do with anything?
Alycia: (catching on to what Brooke was getting at) Wait a minute! Brooke, I might think you might be onto something! I read a little something yesterday about what’s been going on with me and apparently, I’m not the only one with this sort of phenomenon!
Brooke: Katalia, YOU can transform into an animal that can take us all there!
Katalia: Are you insane!? People will notice!
Alycia: Apparently, the cat’s already out of the bag for me, so I can’t just go out in public anymore as it is. That’s why I need to wear this yellow hood whenever I go outside from now on. At this point, it’s strength in numbers.
Katalia: (crosses her arms suspiciously) Then what do you suggest I turn into?
Brooke walked over to the DVD shelf and took out a movie about dinosaurs.
Brooke: (pointing to a T-Rex) How about this? It’d also be the perfect way to dispose of… THAT!
Brooke’s head pointed to the corpse of her deceased father.
--End Scene—
The crowds were all already in the theater by the time Katalia, Brooke, and Alycia got to the West End Music Theater, with Alycia’s hood back on. Alycia and Brooke were riding on top of Katalia, who was transformed into the Tyrannosaurus Rex that Brooke pointed out to her back at her house. People screamed whenever they saw Katalia in her new form. When they got to the back entrance, Katalia changed back into a human, but not before letting Brooke and Alycia off.
Katalia: I can’t believe you made me do that! Now I have a sex offender digesting inside me!
Alycia: (handing Katalia a change of clothes) Well at least we’re here now. Now get changed. We’ll meet you inside.
???: AND IT WILL BE YOUR LAST!
This spooked all the girls outside.
Alycia: This isn’t good.
Katalia: Oh no… Addie needs my help!
Alycia: (cocks an eyebrow) Addie?
Katalia: Yeah, that’s my friend who applied in there.
Brooke: Alright, meet us inside. We’re going in!
Katalia: Alright! I’ll be a few minutes!
A roar of screams can be heard as people flew out of the theater. Alycia and Brooke ran from Katalia and headed for the entrance.
Alycia: I hope you have that knife ready Brooke! We may need to fight again!
--End Scene—
Saara saw a figure in a red hood jump off two balconies and onto the lowest floor as they ran towards the stage. The red hood catapulted theirself onto the stage and drew out an axe made out of tree. The red-hooded figure took off their hood and revealed theirself to be Zela. At the sight of her revelation, the masses screamed and began flying for the exits.
Christine: I didn’t expect to see you here! What do you want Zela?
Zela: Do not pose to question me, Christine! I can tell just by your dumb looks that you are the daughter of Vixella Vox! I should have known right as Mac told me about you. Your family will pay!
Christine: Vixella, my mother!? (an axe of darkness unsheathes from Christine’s hand out of her sheer anger) What does that even have to do with anything?
Zela: More than you KNOW!
Zela took a swing at Christine, who parried her attack. Saara looked over and saw two men haul themselves onto the stage. One was a younger guy she remembered as Mac from the diner. The other was much older.
Zela: Mac! Jarvis! If anyone rebels, fight back in kind!
It was no sooner than Zela gave out that order that Saara began to rush for Jarvis. Jarvis conjured up a knife made of electric energy and flung it at Saara. The attack missed her and pierced the head of one of the cast members who already had their job. Saara’s arms turned into blades as she went to meet Jarvis’ attack. Mac let out a jet of fire from his mouth, targeting Saara, only to be blocked by a ghost shield. She couldn’t believe who had just saved her.
Saara: Addie!?
Addie: I don’t like you, walrus, but if anyone’s going to kill you for being a walrus, it’s going to be me!
--End Scene—
Daniel, JJ, and Shawn scurried down the stairs with the crowds, but while everyone was looking to exit the theater, the three men were looking to go help Saara. Daniel led the way with Shawn following him and JJ bringing up the rear. The traffic down the stairs was a nightmare as they found it hard to stick together.
Daniel: Guys! Are you okay!?
Shawn: We’re right behind you!
Daniel continued to inch down the stairs as fast as he could, but it wasn’t enough. Not even summoning the power of the aura was enough to help him find a right way to the stage, but he figured he would need his energy anyway.
JJ’s voice: Gah!
Daniel and Shawn turned their heads to try and locate JJ, but it was no use. They could not see him because JJ was nowhere to be found in the masses of people, and a force pushed them further down the stairs.
Daniel: Ugh! JJ!
Shawn: We won’t be able to find him! We need to get to the stage floor!
Daniel: (livid at Shawn’s choice of words) Shut up!
Shawn: Stop yelling at me and let’s just go! JJ will have to handle himself!
--End Scene—
Stuck in the second floor of the theater, JJ was separated from Daniel and Shawn, writhing in pain. His separation from his friends was not from the crowd, but rather a force, as if he was flung from the group. His back scorched in pain and blood trickled from the back of his head after crashing head-first backwards into a wall. It was a struggle to get back up, and after three failed attempts, he gave up trying to get back up.
JJ: (weakly rasps) Uuhhh…
A figure in a blue hood walked up towards JJ with a bottle of an unmarked liquid as JJ knelt in pain.
Blue hood: How unfortunate. Your alliance with Zela has made you a threat.
JJ: What?
Blue hood: I know you were with Mac and Jarvis in the theater. Jarvis is Zela’s butler, and you were sitting next to him. What were you planning with them?
JJ: I wasn’t!
Blue hood: LIES!
The blue-hooded man threw the bottle right at JJ’s face, and upon impact, the bottle broke open. What followed next was a severe burning sensation.
JJ: (screams and gurgles as the liquid began to corrode his face)
Blue hood: You were my friend and then you go and consort with the enemy behind my back! Now you will pay for your sins!
The hooded man rose his right hand to be level with JJ. As JJ’s face continued to give him a hellish feeling of torture, he felt himself flung onto another wall and the force of the impact with the wall caved his skull in and killed him.
--End Scene—
Zela continued to do battle with Christine as Mac and Jarvis battled Saara and Addie. With a swing of Christine’s ax, Zela parried and knocked Christine back. The force of the knockback made Christine’s ax fly out onto the floor and disappear. Zela walked up to Christine and rose her ax, then slammed the blade down onto her right shoulder.
Christine: (screams in agony as Zela’s blow rang true)
Zela yanked her ax out of Christine’s arm and saw she had come close to tearing it off, but wasn’t quite there. Another blow would do it. All of a sudden, Zela felt her mind go blank, as if someone were trying to intrude in it.
Zela: (grasping her temple with both hands as she struggled) GET OUT OF MY HEAD!
Two teens leaped onto the stage alongside two adults. They all rushed towards Zela, but she regained her composure enough to force her intruder out of her head, spitting an older man out of her mind.
Addie: DAD!
Zela looked at her intruder, which she now knew was Addie’s father.
Zela: Did you seriously think that you could stop me!? Think again!
As Addie’s father tried to get up, three wooden spikes quickly protruded from the ground at an angle and went through his mouth, his upper chest, and his abdomen, killing him instantly. She could hear Addie’s distressful scream as Zela knew that she had just witnessed her father dying.
--End Perspective—
Shawn climbed up the stage and witnessed Addie’s father get implaed by Zela’s three wooden spikes and saw Addie screaming for her life as she saw her father’s murder. He could see Kitty run to Addie’s aid, fighting Mac in Addie’s place so that Addie could grieve. Shawn meanwhile made his way to help Saara against Jarvis. On his way to aid Saara though, a force of electricity stopped Shawn in his tracks as Jarvis struck him with electricity.
Jarvis: I am terribly sorry sir, but I must serve my mistress.
Shawn: No! You’re better than this!
A head flew and collided Shawn upon impact as he went to attack Jarvis. Shawn took some time to regain his senses and felt for the head. Once he looked at it, he knew that the decapitated head belonged to Christine.
Shawn: No…
He saw Zela walk up to him with a threatening look on her face and a bloody tree ax in her hand with the blood of Christine ripping from its blade.
Zela: You’re next!
--End Perspective—
Saara felt Shawn’s friend Daniel help her up as she lied on the floor during her fight against Jarvis. She saw Christine get decapitated by Zela and saw her walking over to Shawn.
Zela: (to Shawn) You’re next!
Saara heard Zela’s words and that was all she needed to hear. It was either she do something know or they were all going to die, beginning with her friend Shawn.
Saara: Not on my watch! (to Daniel) Take on Jarvis! I’m going to help my friend!
Daniel nodded and attacked Jarvis. As he did so, Saara ran over to Shawn’s side, getting in between with just enough to shield herself and Shawn from Zela’s would-be fatal blow.
Zela: (coldly) Oh, so you care about him? (turns her axe into a sword) Ten seconds ago, you were too busy fighting my butler!
???: YOU WILL DIE ZELA!
A figure in a blue hood jumped onto the stage and attacked Zela, but Zela dodged the blue hood’s attack easily and slashed at his back.
Blue hood: (screams in pain as the blade connected)
Zela: FOOL!
Zela turned to walk over to the man in the blue hood, but Saara rose up and tackled Zela to the ground, beginning to punch at her with steel fists as they landed on the ground. As she pummeled Zela, however, she was knocked off her by a body and they slid across the floor of the stage. Once Saara regained her bearings, she had seen Mac had thrown Kitty at her to protect Zela. Mac walked over, flaming sword in hand ready to take a fell swoop at the girls, but a force of darkness pushed Mac away, off the stage. Out of the darkness stepped an old woman.
Kitty: Vixella!?
--End Perspective—
As Vixella made her entrance, she surveyed the stage and the fight that broke out. However, one thing stood amongst the rest, and it turned Vixella’s emotions amok. Vixella began to cry at the sight she was now beholding.
Vixella ran over to Christine’s headless body, cradling it in her arms.
Vixella: (tears coming out in the midst of her shock) My beautiful daughter! Who did this to you?
???: So she WAS your daughter after all!
Vixella turned her head in rage to see Zela behind her.
Vixella: You! You murderer!
Zela: (shrugs) Never said I was innocent.
Yet another thud was heard as 3 girls climbed onto the stage. One girl who was wearing a yellow hood held an ice sword to Zela’s throat. Vixella recognized this girl as Alycia from the news.
Alycia: Retreat. Now!
Zela, appearing to realize at last that she was outnumbered, stepped back from Alycia.
Zela: Fine. You win. For now. Let’s go boys!
Mac and Jarvis stopped what they were doing and followed Zela out of the theater. As they left, everyone took some time to gain their bearings.
--End Perspective—
Alycia observed the whole scene of the stage after Zela, Mac, and Jarvis exited the stage and the theater. The old woman grieved over the death of Christine. Shawn and Saara were tending to each other, as were a bunch of teenagers. One of them, supposedly Addie, was grieving over the death of a man who looked a lot like her. The man in the blue hood was writhing in pain from the slash on his back Zela had given him.
Katalia: Addie! Kitty!
Addie and Kitty rose their heads to see Katalia! Those three girls ran and embraced each other.
Kitty: Oh my God Katalia! You’re safe! We were so worried about you!
Katalia: Thanks to these girls behind me!
Kitty and Addie turned to meet Brooke and Alycia.
Addie: Thank you for bringing Katalia back to us!
Daniel: And thank YOU ALL for bringing us back Alycia and Brooke safe and sound!
Alycia could feel Daniel’s arms around her and saw his other arm around Brooke.
Daniel: Where were you Alycia!? We were trying to find you!
???: Don’t worry Daniel. I kept her safe from harm.
Everyone turned their attention to where the new noise was coming from. But Alycia who knew who this was. It was the man in the black hood who had carried her over to the church after her car accident.
Brooke: Who ARE you!?
Alycia: I agree with Brooke!
Alycia stepped towards the man in the black hood as he entered the stage.
Alycia: You’ve let me stay in your place, and for that, I thank you. But you have STILL never told me who you were. Reveal yourself.
Black hood: (shrugs) Fine. As you wish.
The man in the black hood took off his hood, and what Alycia saw once he finally revealed himself made her broke down onto the ground.
Alycia: (in shock) No! That’s not possible! You’re supposed to be dead!
Man: Oh, but I am VERY alive! We have much to catch up on, sister!
Alycia began to cry as the shock of seeing her supposed brother alive again hit home.

Thoughts about JJ’s flashback story with his father: I like the Army Knife situation, how it's passed on in the family, and his dad is really chill and a great father figure, which was unexpected to me.
Were you satisfied with the fight against Brooke’s father? I was hoping for something a bit more gruesome than one stab in the heart to finish him. Should've cut off his dick.
What did you think of Alycia’s arrival? Not this queen making her return to her friends and saving their asses. Iconic.

Thoughts about JJ’s flashback story with his father: I must be honest, coming into the episode I didn't fear for JJ's safety until I saw the Flashback and I immediately knew he was dying. As for his Flashback, His father is definitely better than Brooke (LOL) and the Army Knife tradition is a nice little throw in.
Were you satisfied with the fight against Brooke’s father?: For all the misery he caused Brooke aswell as Katalia I was expecting Katalia to morph and rip him to shreds. (Besides T-REX) I was thinking a Lion or a Cougar haha
What did you think of Alycia’s arrival?: Alycia was always intended to be the hero as hinted back in her visions.
Thoughts on the death of Brooke’s father: Saw it coming, he was a Secondary Villain and a nice personal villain for Katalia & Brooke. Just wish it was more brutal? :P
Do you think Katalia could have chosen a better animal to transform into in regards to ferrying Alycia and Brooke to the theater?: Definitely, I feel a Horse would've been more suitable for journeying across a city.
What direction do you predict the rivalry of Addie and Saara to go after they fought on the same side together?: I honestly believed one would die with the other living with Guilt however with both Alive I just hope we don't endure more of their petty squabbles and see them go at it like they did before.
What is your reaction over JJ’s separation from his group as well as his death?: I believe JJ will be the turning point for characters, especially the ones he began the Series with. They'll use him as a catalyst to strengthen themselves.
How do you imagine JJ’s death will be taken?: It's going to hit certain people hard, however I'm drawing parallels to X-Men. I see JJ as being an early Scott Summers Death in which builds up other members to fight harder.
Who is the man hiding in the blue hood?: I'm guessing Spencer because we don't know much about him or Mac?
Thoughts on Addie’s father’s death: Zela being the one to do it felt bittersweet. I feel the only reason her father died was due to her allegiance with Christine. I kind of want to see Addie deal with this grief. Potentially suicide?
Thoughts on Christine’s death: She was the Secondary Villain and Rival to Zela, her days with numbered from the beginning. I loved her decapitation tho.
Thoughts on Vixella’s arrival: I'm drawing parallel's to Kelly's Comment, I can definitely see a Regina type arc for Vixella. She may be misinterpreted as a villain and later do things to strengthen others. Especially with the death of her Daughter it may be conflicting on Good and Evil.
How will Vixella cope with her daughter’s death?: Darkness is a Key element to Vixella and with the death of her daughter I feel she's going to find it hard balancing Good & Evil, she hasn't really got family atm and I can see her going down a darker path, possibly why we saw her with 'Horns' in the visions from Alycia.

What questions would you like to see answered for the second half of the season?: I'm looking forward to more of the Brother/Sister dynamic and I'd also like to explore the 'Darkness' Element because I feel we can get quite a lot of story out of it.
What do you predict will happen in the second half of Season 1?: I feel we'll see more conflicted character betweens Good and Evil (I.E - Addie, Vixella, Alycia, Alycia's Brother, Zela)

What is your reaction over JJ’s separation from his group as well as his death? It was very sad, cause he was just developed and had his own flashback with his father and everything :( I wish we could've seen more of him
How do you imagine JJ’s death will be taken? I think his friends will be sad and will want revenge!

Thoughts about JJ’s flashback story with his father: That just made his death so much sadder!!! Plus, it kinda helped put the Swiss Army knife situation into perspective. I think of JJ and Brooke as close family, especially becasue of that scene.
