Meaning Black History Month is just around the corner! Hopefully shops will be posting some ethnically diversified designs in the following few weeks!

shops is clothes, hair and eyes. black clothes. really?

No one cares about them rly?

:/
Sent by SilverLizard,Jan 26, 2012
igloo_people Each ethnicity has their own distinct set of physical characteristics. Meaning, ones "hair and eyes" can look physically different from one culture to the next.

If we look at recent designs posted, they nearly all have "white" skin, or "white" detail work added. Meaning, if someone using a dark skin avatar were to wear those designs they would look awkward and misplaced.

In conclusion, I don't know why you are using sarcasm when you don't know what you are talking about... and it doesn't make you sound all that good.
Sent by Indie,Jan 26, 2012
Culver You don't HAVE to care about the ethnicity of designs. However, given it is almost "Black History Month", the posting of these designs (which are rare on Tengaged) seems appropriate. Whether you like it or not, designs are a huge part of Tengaged.... and it is good when everyone is represented.
Sent by Indie,Jan 26, 2012
LOL you aren't even black cook.. I just realized that awk. But thanks for standing up for my people!
Sent by Timster,Jan 26, 2012
Timster It's not awkward for someone to want diversification among designs, regardless of their race/religion. The last thing I want is for Tengaged to turn into a WASP society. :')
Sent by Indie,Jan 26, 2012
I completely agree with this blog. It seems like shop owners only cater to white people designs. Not all of us are white. I want to see more diversity.
Sent by Randori,Jan 26, 2012
Are you seriously doing equal rights shit? Please this is a big brother site. Take your civil rights shit somewhere else
Sent by SilverLizard,Jan 26, 2012
SilverLizard I really hope your are trolling, because if you feel that the representation of equality is stupid/redundant then you are VERY ignorant... and quite frankly I feel sorry for you. I feel as though you ignore the problem, pretending it is not there... which is the last thing anyone should be doing.

I'm tired of people moaning and groaning about rights and shit. Were here to play games not to bitch about the lack of black designs. And I feel sorry for your sorry ass too
Sent by SilverLizard,Jan 26, 2012

The president is black so stop bitching about white power
Sent by SilverLizard,Jan 26, 2012
and humps bday
Sent by Hump,Jan 26, 2012
Lizard, the ethnicity of the president is redundant and pointless to the argument presented. If there is anything I am trying to refer to is the diversification of cultures in media/on Tengaged. Expressing how one nationality is exponentially more represented than others. You don't have to agree with the points I am making, but I don't feel you should be poisoning the well with your views.

You sound like a pathetic nerd. Go grow some penis
Sent by SilverLizard,Jan 26, 2012
SilverLizard You can criticize me if you want, but clearly you are trying to avoid a larger issue at hand. While I may find your views ignorant, they are your views. As these are mine. However, as just a friendly form of advice, I wouldn't go around insult people over their opinions as it simple makes you look pathetic in some peoples eyes. So, if you don't have anything productive to say... I wouldn't say anything at all.
Sent by Indie,Jan 26, 2012
i agree with silverlizard, this is a big brother site, if you wanna get all fucking equal rights on us, this isn't really the site. people are just people, who gives a shit. days to celebrate differences is building barriers, you are pointing out differences and making people pay attention to them.
Sent by igloo_people,Jan 26, 2012
igloo_people Celebrating differences is not building barriers, it is removing them. Look at gay pride parades, they are a form of expression. Building barriers is mentally detaching yourself and ignoring important issues.
Sent by Indie,Jan 26, 2012
Sorry for not being a fucking nerd. I think there are some more important things you could be doing instead of showing off your useless smarts to me. Oh wait there isn't? Okay
Sent by SilverLizard,Jan 26, 2012
it's really not, honestly if you want to remove barries, treat everyone as an equal. If black people get a day or a month to be celebrated, whatever america does, then white people should along with all the other races otherwise it isn't equal is it?
Sent by igloo_people,Jan 26, 2012
Silver, your argument is fallacious... I could simply say the same thing back. Please come back when you have a real argument. Plus, it is hard to accept anything you say when you describe yourself as a "troll". Normally I wouldn't even reply to people like you, but surprisingly you helped me to get across my opinion/perspective more broadly. So thanks!
Sent by Indie,Jan 26, 2012
Okay. Delete my comment lol you just mad cuz  I won this argument
Sent by SilverLizard,Jan 26, 2012
SilverLizard, I deleted your post because it was redundant to the issue at hand. You simply said I used to many large words, ignoring what I said, and saying you are styling me. So, rather than letting this issue prolong I deleted the comment because your argument is being to cycle, and is no longer of interest or importance to me. Anyways, I am going now... so have a good evening.

Let the bed bugs bite and catch a disease while you're at it. This site was made for fun. Not to write paragraphs on civil rights and call other people stupid.
Sent by SilverLizard,Jan 26, 2012
I agree with SilverLizard. It may be an important isuue "irl" but this is just a Big Brother game :P Don't bring all of these problems on this site.
Sent by LoganGage14,Jan 26, 2012
Indie oh yea I feel what you're saying! Nice of you to try and show igloo & Silver the light but you can't fix ignorance/dumb trolls. I'm sure if they were the minority on this site they'd feel more of a need to be understanding instead of immediately ruling this argument as not worthy of any attention. I mean all you were asking was about the possibility of more diversity in designs in the next month. If you really wanted to be ambitious you coulda said that when a shop posts a design with white skin in it, they should automatically post the design in black as well or just have a shop full of designs that people of any race can wear...I've had three shops remind me of how difficult it can be at times to find designs that match my skin tone.

But yea at the end of the day I def know this is just a game site and the matter at hand isn't THAT crucial and that my energy to fight against something could be put into something better. BUT this issue is still a valid thought and more people aware the better ^.^ & best case scenario a shopowner or future shopowner or designer may make more of an effort to make designs for diff races!
Sent by 2008girl,Jan 26, 2012
2008girl I agree with everything you have said! It's not that people are asking them to post only black designs, just for shop owners to make an effort of posting less ethnically restrictive designs. Just how people ask owners to post both male and female designs.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS we need something for the black ppl on this site
Sent by koolmanmadden,Jan 26, 2012
Yeah, I want something different as well! Culturally different designs could spawn new ideas for this website!
