ONE WORLD
There is 3 main reasons why this season is not that low on my ranking, even tho being known for one of the worst Survivor seasons.
Firstly, pre-merge was soo gooood. Whether you like Colton or not (probably not), he made this premerge one of the most entertaining pre-merge ever, tied with Abi Maria in Cambodia. He was such a monster to everyone, but the drama was just too good.
"Do you have any black persons in your life ?"
"Yes"
"Who"
"My housekeeper"
This iconic TC says it all. He started from the very bottom and went to the top so quickly, it was jubilating to watch. Even if you despise his racist ass, you can't deny that this season became boring after his medevac.
Second reasons why this season is not that bad is the winner, Kim Spradlin. She's such a clever and strong player, she has everything. She played a perfect game. But this was too perfect, so this turned out predictible and boring, unfortunately.
Finally, who doesn't love a season where the women dominate the game ? (hello Micronesia). But in another hand, dividing the tribe by sex was so not necessary, like it was already made too many times. But It was worth it, we saw a clear division, and the battle for food and shelter at the beginning was awesome.
When I think about it, there is not much to say about One World. I'm trying to think about huge moves and blindsides that happened, but besides Kim slaying everyone, I can't think of something really relevant to say about this season. I just wish that the casting was not so dumb believing Kim, who is the female Boston Rob. But with such a stupid cast, this season had to be in the Bottom 10.
Also things that put this season down : the DIY challenges, completely dumb, or the intro not being showed, fucking annoying.
