BLOOD VS WATER
Aaaaaaahhh I don't want to do that. This is one of the first season I watched (second one I think) and It left such a great impression on me. But overall this was such a hot mess, and this is also why I love this season so much.
This was honestly way easier to say what was bad about a season (Bottom 7) than what was great.
Like I said in a previous ranking (for Worlds Apart I think) "Some seasons have such an awful cast that when some persons are likeable, you root for them so hard because you can not fucking stand the other. So you're so involved in their fate that the season is becoming addictive". This was indeed the case this season for Ciera.
She came from so far, but she slayed this cast like no other. Nobody was expecting her to be such a brilliant strategist, but too much strategy can hurt someone (that hurt her too in Cambodia).
Like I mentionned in my previous ranking, a trio completely ruined this season for me. This is obviously Tyson/Gervase/Monica. I didn't hated Monica that much but ugh the other two were just awful vile cunt. Disgusting vile bitches. Seeing them completely dominating the season and staying loyal to each other are one of the only flaws of the season. But It's a big one.
This season also brought back Redemption Island, a twist that can be very shitty (always the same people dominated RI in previous seasons). This time, It was enjoyable. Everyone could watch the fight, which is a good improvment. Also the idol clue always going to the fire was hilarious and awesome at the same time.
Pre-merge, the drama was very good. Probably one of the season with the most drama ever. And you guys know I loooove drama.
But not just Redemption Island came back, some castaways came back with their bloodlines. They could have done better tbh. Some of them were not very remembered (Monica), and some of them already came back too many times (Rupert, Tyson). It was good to see Tina and Aras tho. The biggest returnee surprise was LAURA MORETT. I didn't really remembered her that well, but she was absolutely amazing this season. A true godess. He doesn't really count as a returnee but seeing Hayden again was also good, he was even more sexy than in BB12.
Some iconic plays were also made (like in Marquesas for example). Only a few seasons can say that the blindsides/moves/TC were iconic. But voting off your own mother or the drawing rocks, c'mon, this was jubilating.
But I already said that I struggle with seasons dominated by one person/group from start to finish. Especially dominated by someone I just hate (what he told to Katie when she was eliminated, this was disgusting).
A LOT of awesome castaways were going to come back but were cut by productions or family matter, and this is what is tragic : RC, Parvati, Jerri, Amber and Rob, Kelly from Africa, Yau-Man, Ashley Underwood, Cirie, Terry, Penner.Cindy.. Tragic.

Worst castaway : Gervase Peterson
