Another seasons that a lot of you expected to be in the Top 5. It could have been tbh, at this point all the remaining seasons are very very close. It's very hard.
There were a lot of awesome things in this season, a lot of new things too. The best, that I instantly remember when I hear about China, is the situation between Jaime and robbed queen Peih Gee Law (a little overated tho). This was hilarious, throwing the immunity challenge for their original tribe to have still the numbers but at the merge, they figured out that the other turned on them haha. It was a good and brand new strategy tho, who could have worked.
The other great things that happened this season was James getting not one, but two idols. And then getting voted off with 2 idols in his pocket. I don't like James (never did and never will), so I was happy when Amanda slayed him and blindsided his ass.
The drama was also very good from the beginning. Ashley made the first 2 episodes very good (she was so entertaining), same for Sherea. And the rivalry between Courtney and Jean Robert was probably one of the best ever (probably top 3).
It's also very rare that a Final 3 is that flawless. There are almost all the time a floater, but this time, the three of them were iconic. But It was a very bad bad move not to have voted Todd of at Final 4. Denise was the worst, I don't think she would have won. I really want Todd to come back someday, he's a great vilain. But I heard he had problems with alcohol so...
Anyway awesome seasons that I really need to watch again, with an awesome cast.

That was when I discovered my queen Amanda Kimmel. I loved the final 3 alliance of Todd, Courtney and Amanda. They were really good friends and stuck together throughout the season. I agree with you, flawless final 3, and I was happy for whoever won. Which is rare.
this was the first season that i ever watched and made me fall in love with survivor. my fave players were james and jean Robert so i dont get your distain of them (and btw i fucking HATED courtney)
Honestly, I loved this season so much, and it's in my personal top 10. This season was very good in my opinion, I mean, the final 3 was perfect. Todd was an amazing strategist and his FTC performance is definitely the best FTC performance in my opinion, Courtney was snarky and hilarious, and LIVIDMANDA was a goddess in China, like she was in ALL of her seasons. I also treasure Peih-Gee for her bitchy villainy and I treasure Jaime for her dumb but nice villainy.
I think this is a really good placement for China. It was obviously amazing but it's kind of overrated by most people. The cast was flawless, though < 3
This ranking has been pretty great, but... Palau and especially Samoa still being in this...
