I fell off a ladder at work last November. There was a gas leak that day, and it happened to be in the back room where I fell. I landed very awkwardly on my right knee. I thought i broke my knee cap, but the pain started to go away and the gas leak took my mind off of what happened. So for the months following, my knee pain got worse and worse. I had an X-Ray and it didn't show any bone damage. It got REALLY bad in July. So I went for an MRI, and nothing showed up on that either. They thought it was a bone contusion, which is a bruised bone. But no one ever heard of such a long lasting bruised bone. I then went to Physical Therapy for my knee and my therapist thought I probably tore my meniscus which would explain why it has been hurting since last November. But then, today, I find some more unfortunate news out. Back in 2012, I slipped off a 6ft. stage. I broke my right wrist and then found out months later that I had five bulging discs in my lower back. I did physical therapy, and it healed me. Back to today, my therapist noticed i walked funny. My back is slightly crooked to one side when I walk. So he now thinks my knee and ankle pain could be from my discs acting up again. UGH! This sucks so bad. I'm off of work for two weeks and probably taking another two weeks off after that. I just thought I'd let all my friends here on Tengaged know what my current situation is.
