CORELLA'S DIARY :
"Dear Diary,
Today... Judging by my given information... Could go down in history books. Dr. Isobel Stevens said that a patient came in... A very sick patient... Joan Rex... She was normal temperature one second, the next second, her temperature went through the roof. Then it took a huge slope then, like nothing happened. Until she started coughing blood. She had worse symptoms than anything else we've ever seen. If this patient died I can't hold it against Dr. yang... This is far too crucial. This may be the beginning of a terrible illness. Joan Rex is patient 0."
ON A BUS TO PHILADELPHIA, 2014 :
Christina puts down the diary and mumbles "the Joan Rex disease."
Old Cristina sits by Christina and asks "Why are you going to the hospital?"
"It's a huge attraction. I mean... From the outside. No one has ever been inside for years. Now that I know you used to work there..." Christina says.
"You don't have..." Cristina starts.
"Keys?" Christina holds up keys to the hospital.
"Great." Cristina sighs.
1975, PHILADELPHIA CITY HOSPITAL :
Joan lies in a hospital bed. She has blonde hair with brown roots and a fairly big head, very tall and is wearing jeans and a blood covered t-shirt. Joan cries "put me down. Please."
Cristina and Izzie look down at her. "Poor girl."
Elsie lies down in bed sleeping and she hears a noise. She gets her gun out of under her pillow and points it at the closet door.
Nothing comes out.
She then points it at the real door. It opens.
"AHHH!" She shoots at the door, missing Cody by an inch.
Cody asks "what the hell?!"
Elsie cries "close the door... Close... CLOSE THE GODDAMN DOOR!"
Cody shuts the door and asks "what is your trauma. Cops are coming from the last gunshot complaint."
"Don't worry. They won't come. No one is coming." Elsie cries.
"What the hell are you talking about?!" Cody asks.
Joan shrieks in the next room.
"Everyone knows. It's all over the news. This hospital is turning into a ghost building. If the cops are coming it's to close this off. Isolate this place." Elsie cries. "I don't feel... Safe. Anywhere. Not anymore. With anyone... Am I just crazy?! I feel crazy..."
"No..." Cody says.
Cristina walks in "I was eavesdropping. You aren't crazy. I HAVE SEEN CRAZY. You escaped a near death experience. You are sane."
THE NEXT ROOM OVER :
Joan cries "Dr... Dr. Stevens."
Izzie walks over "yeah?"
"Kill me... I don't want to be the cause of the apocalypse or some shit... I want to die." Joan cries.
Izzie shakes her head "no. We will isolate you. Give you the protection you deserve. You won't kill a soul and you'll survive."
"Don't act like you're a wizard or some bullshit. You are just a human. I'm not gonna let you kill me on accident and make you live with that guilt." Joan cries.
Izzie feels a tear run down her cheek bone. She blinks and more tears come out.
"You have to complete my orders... Drug me. And kill me. You need too. I command it." Joan says. "But, first... Can I write a will?"
Izzie nods. "You don't have to do this. You know that right? We can save you."
Joan coughs out blood "no... It's too late."
Izzie storms out in tears. She then notices someone else across the room showing similar symptoms "no... No... NONOONOONOONO..." Izzie runs into a hospital room and shrieks "NOOOOO!" She knocks a shelf over and takes a scalpel and stabs a pillow. "NOOOO!" She collapses to the ground in tears.
2014, OUTSIDE THE HOSPITAL :
Cristina opens the door and realizes how much it changed. Besides it being inside a ghost town in Pennsylvania. It wasn't in Philadelphia. It was outside it. Close but not inside it. The wall paper is almost all torn out besides a few streaks of light blue with a creepy dark pattern. The corridor is dark filled with cobwebs.
1975, HOSPITAL, CORRIDOR :
Down the corridor to the left inside a room, Topper is in a deep sleep. He slowly gets up and walks out and down the corridor and knocks 3 times, slowly, on Neil's door.
Neil opens his eyes, no pupils, nothing but white.
Neil gets up and follows Topper.
They walk down the corridor and they notices Matthew leave his room.
Matthew says "Hey!"
They say nothing and walk toward him.
"hello?!" He says starting to walk backwards.
They remain speechless following him.
He runs away from them down the corridor. They slowly follow. He gets on a stretcher and starts to skate away "LEAVE ME ALONE!" It crashes into a door and he starts running again.
They slowly follow.
Matthew runs down the seemingly never ending corridor and ends up opening a door that Neil and Topper are standing in.
"AHHHH!"
Neil asks "how should we kill him?"
"I don't care. scalpel his eyes out?"
"Sure!"
They walk as he backs into a wall a door used to be in "AHHH!"
The walls start to turn black as they get closer to him.
They start singing 'Twinkle twinkle little star' in a monotone voice.
Matthew cries "GO PLEASE! GO! GO!"
Topper smiles and his teeth are sharp like a shark.
He falls on his back when the door suddenly reappears "AHHHHH!"
The whole waiting room looks at him.
Matthew cries "Neil... And topper... Are... Evil. Their eyes are white... They are murderers. Topper's teeth are shark teeth!"
Priya says "odd... I was just with him and his teeth and eyes are fine."
Corella says "maybe, priya... You should go take him to the 'special room'."
Carmel asks "can I film this as Lana is getting coffee?"
Lana hears her say that and tries to screams "LET ME OUT." But her mouth is duct-taped.
IN ELSIE'S ROOM, LATE AT NIGHT :
Cristina is with Elsie.
Elsie is sleeping and Cristina is watching over her and the door starts to open and Brittany runs at Elsie with scissors "AHH! YOU LYING BITCH!"
Cristina grabs a scalpel and screams "GET OUT!"
Brittany and Cristina start wrestling and it ends up with Cristina cutting open Brittany's neck with the scalpel.
Brittany croaks "Ahh..."
Cristina gasps "Oh my god."
Estelle walks in and asks "what do you want me to do with her?"
Cristina says "I've killed people during surgery before... But I've never... Killed somebody... Like really..."
"It's a thrill, ain't it?" Estelle asks.
Elsie wakes up and cries "BRITTANY."
"She tried to kill you. I was protecting you." Cristina says.
Elsie cries "BRITTANY." She gets up and runs at Brittany.

"Brittany was a good person..." Elsie cries.
"She was a murderer." Cristina says.
"This corridor is so old... And dark..." Christina says.
Izzie runs down the hall looking for someone "NEIL! NEIL!"
Neil says "leave. GET OUT!" He hits Izzie down.
Joan cries "How did this happen?!"
