Richard picks K.C and whispers "Everything will be okay." And he takes her back to the prison.
"Richard has K.C!" Emmaleigh yells to the town. "Let's go save K.C."
"We have K.C." Mary says, leaving the jail.
"DO NOT TOUCH K.C!" Jay shrieks.
"Ah shit..." Jade says, as her sister gets up behind her.

Ashlea walks up to the door, and knocks on it. They can only see her shadow since the shades are down.
"Is she dead?" Layla cries.
"I don't know... We should just go, and run." Jade cries. She silently prays, holding the cross on her necklace.
5 YEARS AGO TODAY :
Jade exits her car, and walks into the hospital. She goes up to the main lady and asks "Where is Ashlea Jefferson? She volunteers here."
"Oh, you must be Jade." The small black woman behind the desk says.
"Yes. I just happened to turn 19 today, she probably didn't remember, but my present from my parents was to visit from New Orleans." Jade says.
"Oh, she remembers. If you want to leave, you just have to either knock or ask her. We added a new thing that it only locks from the outside so patients can't escape." She says.
Jade says "Okay." Walking towards room 23.
IN ROOM 23, PRESENT DAY :
Ashlea bangs on the door, "Please let me out."
Layla and Jade gasp in unison.
Jade opens the door and hugs Ashlea. Who passes out in her arms. "Ashlea?!"
Layla cries and runs up to the front desk, and takes papers out of the dead small black woman's hands. "There is an anti flu vaccine in cabinet 12... Um... I don't know what any of these words mean." Layla cries, passing the clipboard toward Jade.
"Make sure she keeps breathing if not, there is a pager in her room, run to it, page everyone 9-1-1. It she wakes up while you're in there, slam the door, it automatically locks. And scream. Scream so everyone can hear." Jade cries, running away.
IN THE TOWN :
Danica shrieks "ALL OF US NEED TO STAND TOGETHER, AND FIGHT. WE HAVE AN ARMY OF 45 PEOPLE, AND A TOWN OF 105. WHAT DO THEY HAVE?! We don't know. They could have... THE WHOLE POPULATION OF THE WORLD. But, we could best an army of... ONE MILLION. IF WE WORK TOGETHER. That's why... SOME OF US, NEED TO STAY BEHIND TO PROTECT OUR TOWN, THEY ARE NOT OUR ARMY, OUR ARMY MUST STAY STRONG."
Lexie, Meredith, Cristina and Miranda are talking.
"What are we doing? We must contribute." Lexie says.
Meredith says "We must stay behind and guard our town, with your lives. Worst case scenario it's a war. We all die. You have to stay here, and protect us to make sure that doesn't happen to everyone staying behind."
"We should at least help and do surgery on the shot victims." Cristina says.
"Yeah, two of us should..." Lexie starts.
"Shut up. We do what we are told." Miranda yells.
Lexie looks down, and pouts.
Olivia goes up to Izzie and asks "What should I do? I am tough, I am strong, I've defeated people... I want to contribute."
"Go to Danica. I am more of the brains. She is the badass." Izzie says.
"Thank you, mam." Olivia says, going to Danica.
"What?" Danica asks.
"Can I join, I am strong." Olivia says.
"Sure, your funeral though, I give you 5 minutes before you crack, and I can't wait." Danica says.
Isabella gives Olivia a shotgun and says "She rejected me as well, but she'd be crazy if she thought I wasn't coming. This is my brother... And frankly, I got recruited by Izzie as president. I can do whatever I want, and I can fire Danica."
Before they even start, zombies come at the wall.
Olivia mumbles "shit." and runs toward the wall.
Lexie stabs one in the head, and fights them off with a knife. And Olivia helps her.
The warriors stop leaving, and Olivia stares as they go. "Shit."
Lexie whispers "You, Cristina and I will go sneak out later."
Olivia smiles at Lexie and nods, but a zombie comes in on Olivia and she shrieks "NOOO!"
And she fights it away from her neck "Shit!"
Olivia cries and fights it away.
Lexie is preoccupied and cries "CRISTINA! MEREDITH!"
The zombie bites Olivia's neck.
Lexie cries "NOOOO!"
It continues to maul her.
Olivia closes her eyes.
Meredith runs to the scene and cries "Shit!" She stabs the zombie in the head. "Before I do this, any last words to her."
Lexie whispers in Olivia's ear "I will still go and fight with Cristina... You will not die in vein."
Meredith stabs Olivia's dead body in the head.
AT THE GATES OF THE PRISON :
Mark bangs on the door three times.
Danica stands right by him.
Danica shrieks "LET US IN OR WE WILL BLOW THIS PLACE UP!"
Richard laughs "I can tell who that is from a mile away. Hello Danica."
"LET US IN." Danica screams.
The gates start to open.
"hide or you're first," Mark whispers.
Danica runs away in the crowd.
The gates open and their army is about 50 feet away with about 40 people.
Mark yells "We can do this peacefully!"
"I doubt that." Richard says shooting his shotgun.
It misses Mark by inches and shoots the first man by him in the head.
"AHH!" Mark screams, running toward him, both armies running at each other.
Mark instead of running towards them hides behind a hut.
Isabella gasps at this and runs to him.
Isabella yells "Some of us just cause drama and pretend they are all that... But, some just try to survive... Can you tell the difference? The way to survive now is FIGHTING not hiding like a little bitch."
Mark punches her in the face.
"Real men don't hit girls." Richard says pointing his revolver at Mark's head.
"Isabella... Help." Mark says.
"I won't do anything about you killing Mark if you get me to my brother, Jay. Or K.C." Isabella says.
Richard shoots Mark in the back.
"Now, take me to Jay or K.C." Isabella pleads.
"Come with me." Richard says.
Isabella spits on Mark's injured body.
IN A JAIL CELL :
Jay struggles to escape. "HELP ME OUT."
IN A ROOM :
K.C gets out of a chair after hearing the screams, she opens the door and a zombie is there "AHHH!" She pushes it down and runs past it and opens a door and slams it in its face.
"Hello?!" Jay asks.
K.C asks "JAY?!"
She runs to the bars.
"Do you have any keys?" Jay asks.
"No. But, I know where to find some." K.C says, hopefully.
"Can you get it?" Jay asks.
"Sure." K.C says, running up, looking out the window of the door, noticing the zombie disappeared.
She opens the door, and a crawling zombie grabs her leg "AHHH!" She falls down the staircase the prison has, and is on the floor of the cell block, passed out.
"AHHH!" Jay cries,
Mary stabs the crawling zombie in the head, and gasps at the passed out K.C.
Mary checks her pulse and cries "Her neck must've broke... She is DEAD."
Jay cries "No..."
"Yep."
BANG!
K.C all of the suddenly has a bullet wound in her head.
"AHH!" Mary shrieks, she runs up the stairs and slashes the neck of the person who did it, before even noticing it was Richard.
Isabella stares at her, wide eyed.
Mary says "Run away in three seconds or you're next."
Isabella says "No..." And she shoots Mary in the head, before even thinking. She takes the key chain from Richard's back pocket and runs to the jail cell, and cries when she notices Jay. "Oh my God..." She whimpers, and she opens the jail cell, and hugs him.
OUTSIDE :
Lexie notices Mark and carries him to the gate. "Let's save some lives." They work on him under a tree.
Cristina keeps watch, she notices Danica fighting.
Danica shrieks "COME AT ME." She stares at Cristina for a second, and gets shot in the back of the head and collapses.
Callum comes from behind and says "Hey Lexie."
"We need... We need a scalpel. A knife could work too. We made a wooden one, but can you please find a knife or something?" Lexie begs.
"Anything for you." Callum says, running towards a door.
Callum enters a room, and it's a kitchen "Perfect." He runs in, but hears footsteps. "Hello?!" He runs down and finds a knife, and flees.
He runs to where Lexie is and hands it to her. "AGH!" He cries in terror.
"What's wrong?" Lexie cries.
He collapses and she notices a stab wound in the back of his head.
"AHHHH!" Lexie cries, looking up noticing a tall man. Cristina drags Mark away, before the man shoots Lexie in the stomach "AGH!"
Cristina hides Mark behind a tree. "Play dead..." She whispers, before fleeing to the gates.
Lexie lies down, twitching.
Leanna notices Lexie, and runs at her "LEXIE!"
BANG!
She falls down, covering her head, and she starts crawling towards Lexie.
Leanna turns her noticing how much death had happened for two people. "Oh my God." She whimpers.
Leanna gets to Lexie and cries. "Survive this."
Lexie whispers "Meredith."
The war is now over. So many people died. Including K.C the one they went to save.
Cristina comes back shortly after with Meredith and Miranda.
Miranda breaks down in tears, with Meredith.
Meredith cries "What the hell, Lexie?!"
Lexie whispers "I thought I could save lives."
Meredith cries "Don't die. You're all I have."
"Shoot me in my head." Lexie whispers. "Now... Before I die."
"No..." Meredith cries.
"Yes." Lexie says, staring at a cloud. "Now."
Cristina says "if it helps..."
"Leave me alone with her." Meredith says.
They do.
BANG!
Cristina begins to walk toward Meredith before hearing.
BANG!
"Why would two bullets..." Cristina starts. "Oh no..."
They both run to Meredith before noticing her and Lexie both lying on the ground.
"NOOOO!" Cristina shrieks, falling to her knees.
IN THE HOSPITAL :
Layla watches Ashlea, as Ashlea starts twitching.
"Shoot." Layla cries watching her twitch.
Layla runs into the hospital room and gets the pager.
IN THE DRUG CABINET :
Jade hears the pager go off and she gets the drug, and runs.
5 YEARS AGO, CAFÉ :
Ashlea hands Jade a small box.
Jade opens it, crying from happiness.
"It was Grand-Mami's." Ashlea said. "She prayed every minute when Grand-Papi died. She believes it was a miracle that he died... Happy." She cries.
Jade puts on the cross necklace and hugs Ashlea.
3 YEARS AGO, THE HOSPITAL :
Jade and Ashlea scream "ANYONE! SAFE PLACE, OVER HERE!"
Zombies run at them, and they slam the door.
"We got enough people." Jade says.
Ashlea cries "You're wearing the necklace."
"I never take it off." Jade cries.
7 MONTHS AGO :
Ashlea lies sick in the bed, and Jade prays.
NOW :
Jade runs towards the room they were at, and Ashlea is seizing. "Please... Please... Please..." She checks her pulse and puts the needle inside Ashlea's neck.
Layla bangs on the door, and Jade opens it.
"Will she be okay?" Layla asks.
She stops seizing.
"Yes... But, we need to go..." Jade says.
IN THE TOWN :
Miranda, Cristina and Leanna, Isabella and all the survivors, including Mark walk in.
Izzie asks "Where is everyone? Where is Lexie and Meredith?"
No one says anything.
"Wait... Where's K.C?!" Izzie cries, putting her hand over her mouth.
Mark says "These are the only people who made it. Thanks to you."
Izzie slaps Mark. "Just because of a SHITTY army, and a TERRIBLE co executive...DOES NOT MAKE THIS MY DAMN FAULT. I am the GOD DAMN leader, and if you don't want to be OUT OF THE SHITTY STREETS I WOULD TREAT ME WITH SOME GOD DAMN RESPECT." She points at Grace "This is Grace by the way."
"Did you say K.C... Died?!" Grace cries, and breaks down in tears.
Candice's jaw drops.
"Our group is broken... Don't dance in its ashes... We will be okay." Izzie says. "Even if it kills me."
