Like, Chanel #3 (Sadie) has done nothing but trash #5 (Libby) all season.... If she doesn't start getting a better plotline/airtime she's gonna sink even more in my ranking. The only thing making her better than Zayday is the fact even ZayDay is turning on Libby, and that's just completely out of character.
Season 2 for all the young ones (aside from Cassidy) is just a hate on Libby fest. Season one it was much less forced and reasonable as Chanel is Chanel and always trashes everyone, Libby in particularly but... Sadie & Libby were tight season one. OCCASIONALLY Sadie trashed Libby, but this is just a null emoji.
Hester is amazing, but just broke free. I'm dying to see how she and the killer are in cahoots tho.
ATM : Chanel > Libby > Hester >>>>> Sadie >>>> ZayDay > Cassidy (cassidy isn't rlly that great yet, and once he starts dating Sadie officially he'll probably sink EVEN more for ruining Sadie's storyline)
As for the adults, Dean Munsch is slaying this season. She's an independent woman who kicks ass and demands respect. She's the face of New New Feminism. Mom.
Denise, on a comedic standpoint, carried the show even more than Chanel. It's a rough loss. Chad was a pretty hard loss too, but Denise & Gigi were 2 of my favorites from the start. Losing Gigi season one was rough, but her death wasn't shown so I survived. Denise... < / 3
Chamberlain has went from UTRPP3 - MORP2 - UTRP2 - to now INV1 or UTR1 cuz I don't recall him in the last episode, but think he was mentioned. I love Chamberlain, but I'm waiting for him to be more than just extra or friend to ZayDay. He was 10/10 premiere.
Ingrid Hoffel is a legend already, but... She's been INV1 the past 2 episodes. I'm ready for her in the next episode tho. So ready.
Brock is cool but really this last episode had no notable moments. His rivalry with Chad is over so... I'm waiting for something more.
That's basically it.
The cast is really weak this season compared to last, despite most of the bests from last season returning and there's no Wes, grace or Pete, the satanic trilogy.
So far, this season is a 7 or 8. Season 1 being a 10.
Despite killing major characters, they don't have enough content for the surviving characters to thrive off of.
Lasts night episode was basically just Libby, Chanel, Hester & Denise. Dead Chad got more notable airtime than Sadie.
Sadie needs a breakout now. Cuz she's FLOPPING. I'm sorry kinggeek. But she's had 0 iconic moments and all she's done so far is trash Libby and go back to penis.
My hopes for this season :
Libby to not get attacked verbally or physical for just ONE episode. #GiveABitchABreak
Sadie to get back to her slay ways.
Ingrid Hoffel vs Chanel being the new Dean Munsch vs Chanel.
Chamberlain to do something.
Rlly not much else.
I still have hope this season will get even better.
For real. Honestly, we needed more new characters than just Brock, Cassidy, and occasionally Chamberlain and Ingrid.
They're not giving #3 any growth and #5 has yet to stick up for herself w/out crawling back to Chanel.
This season is still really good and super fucking funny, but they FUCKED up killing Chad in ep 3 and Denise in ep 4.
Like how are they supposed to go 8 more eps with the 2 characters that gave us the most comic relief gone?
Like, this cast is super weak. #5 is one of my favorites because I think she's grown a lot as a independent character and has in a way developed, but still has yet to really not be seen as a punching bag for Chanel, but I like how she's starting to get a victim edit at least.
Chamberlain & Ingrid are the only new characters I like a lot and they hardly get airtime. So I 100% agree. At least new patients that don't die right away.
