Jake: I don’t dislike Shane as much as most. He was annoying and did a lot wrong, but he showed his loyalties to the right people and that gives him a win in my book. I definitely didn’t like him, but I respected his loyalty to Cristina and his ability to do whatever it took to get ahead.

Andrew: Disgusting VILE human trash, He deserved to be the one killed instead of mousey, I hate his guts for it, and he can die trying to get to Switzerland.

Ray: I wasn’t really a fan of Shane from the start since we got a bunch of new characters in season 9 and I fell in love with the other interns such as Heather and Leah and Jo and Shane was kind of just there for me, but as the show progressed his character continuously got worse and he didn’t have much of a development other than being Cristina’s right hand man. Not to mention, his passive aggressive comments and actions towards Meredith and some of the other surgeons left a bad taste in my mouth. I just never really found his character interesting.
