My friend and I are in Business Law together and our final is a debate with the partner of our choice. Obviously we chose each other. Well we went through all these controversial topics such as gay marriage, abortion, gun laws, etc and we agreed on literally all of them. We came across one that was "Should Prostitution Be Legalized" and we both were unsure. The next day she text me and asked my opinion and I said "I guess not" because she was also on the fence. Well she chose the other side and that's now our debate topic. The issue is, I agree with her side too hence why I was on the fence. I've told her this multiple times and she isn't budging on changing the debate.
Clearly this'll be hard for me to debate against an argument I agree with so is she sabotaging me or? Cuz she clearly knows she'll be able to find and argue her statistics better....

If you are good then you should be able to debate anything
Just because you dont agree with the side your on doesnt mean you cant fight for it. Who knows you might learn new stuff about it and itll change your perspective
