A woman is heard shivering in the dark and she hears foot steps walking towards her. The person transforms into it's Wendigo form and the light turns on. The Wendigo begins snarling close up to the woman's neck as she cries & shakes in terror. The Wendigo asks the woman if she'd like to say any last words and takes a huge chunk out of her neck before she had the chance to speak. Bleeding to death the woman lays on the floor as the Wendigo grubs on her flesh.
A few days later after, Nik rushes to the radio station, and reads off an alert from the police department. He reads the report on air that 23 people went missing the night before, 7 adults & 13 children. Aveline & Rudy are shown listening to the broadcast at the bar, Jerishma listening to it in her car on the way to work, Katie, Kixi, Tanner, Ethan, Cody listening to it at the movie theater. Everyone in the town realizes that this "person" who's been causing havoc is playing some type of cruel game & everyone seems to be on the edge of their seats. The town seems empty within the last week as people are afraid to go outside and trapped in their home from the weather.
1987: Durango, Colorado-
Sheri, who now goes by the name Jerishma, has full custody of Danica(3 years old) & Nik(2 years old). Jerishma is desperate to find anything that could protect Danica & Nik in case the Wendigo were to ever come back. Jerishma flips through Ms. Coonbar's old cryptic files she had in the attic looking for anything that could help. Jerishma comes across one particular page. She tears it out, folds it and slides it in her pocket.
2010: Durango, Colorado-
Running to town as fast as they can, Ian, Mac, Sam & their mom start yelling for help. The heavy gust of wind & the storms intensity makes it hard for anyone to hear or see. Aveline rushes out of the bar after hearing the yelling and soon after the group in the theater which is diagonal from the bar rushes out as well. They all get into the theater and start to warm them up with some blankets and some hot coco in the backroom of the movie theater. Aveline comes back from the bar with a first aid kit, starts cleaning the blood off them & starts calling 911 but nobody is picking up the phone. Ian tells them he found their car flipped in the middle of the road a few miles down with a message written in blood & tells them he came in contact with someone or something evil. He described the person as a demon & told them it's not letting anyone leave the town and he doesn't know why. Tanner starts to laugh at him and tells him he's pulling stuff out of his ass but with the scared look in Ian's eyes Katie feels like he's telling the truth. Tanner & Katie start to bicker about it until Mac tells them to shut up. "Everyone just shut up!!! We have to be open minded about this & if it is what Ian says then I think maybe Madame Jerishma could help us. She's probably our only hope to know what the hell is going on in this town.". "Don't curse, Mac." Ms. Ammerman tells him. Ethan starts to get worried about Shannon since she hasn't returned any of his or Kixi's messages. Cody suggests they all go to the Psychic Chateau to talk with her. "Oh yay we're talking to more crazies. Just kill me now" Tanner says under his breath. Aveline behind him replies "Better watch out what you wish for, buddy.".
The group all walks in the Psychic Chateau where they see Danica & Nik standing talking to Madame Jerishma. "What is this?! How many people did you call over, Jerishma?!" Danica asks. "Calm down, Danica. I didn't call anyone else over. What are you guys doing here?" Jerishma asks. Zach walks in shortly after, after noticing them all walking in, "Oh, nice of you to join us!! So glad you can make it" Danica says in a sarcastic voice. Zach sticks his tongue out at Danica & she sticks her tongue back at him. Ian tells her about what he saw & asks her if she knows anything that could help. Jerishma tells them her whole history with the Wendigo."This can't be serious" Zach begins to laughs. Aveline & Danica tell Zach to shut up in unison. Rudy asks why she didn't warn people ahead of time and she said people would think she's crazy. "You got that right!" Tanner whispers to Zach. About 10 minutes into her story she says every 25 years the evil spirit of the Wendigo possesses a new person & they begin to feed off human flesh for at least 2 weeks. Ms. Ammerman tells her that they need to start warning people so they can protect their families & children. "Don't worry I've already started protecting as many children as I can." Jerishma says. Ms. Ammerman asks her what in the world does she mean by that & Nik says in a chilling voice "Slender". Jerishma stares at Nik with a surprised look on her face. "Hold the hell up....What the hell is a Slender?!" Aveline asks with her arms crossed.
1987: Durango, Colorado-
Jerishma has conjured a pale, manlike creature. Holding the black & white crystal she starts communicating with it telepathically "Don't be afraid my darling, I'm your friend. I brought you to this world because there are children who need your help.". The scene fades in on the face of the Slenderman.
