Shannon is seen braiding a little girls hair and tells the children stories to keep them entertained. All the children seem to be loving where they are at which kind of concerns Shannon since at some point they have to get out and she is eager to do so. As Shannon comes up with a cute fairy tale about a princess and her prince charming which in her head she imagines as her & Ethan, one of the little girls asks her if she has a prince charming. "I...I guess you can say I kind of do." She says with a smile. The little girl asks what his name is. "His name is Ethan, he is a very special & kind person."Shannon replies. Slender is in the next room looking out the window as he eavesdrops as Shannon talks about how Ethan. Slender grabs on to one of the bars thats over the window and bends it in what seems like jealousy.
The wind starts to pick up as the group is heading to the police department have about a mile to walk. Zach tells them they better take a break and get in one of the building. Jerishma tells them they have no time to waste that they need to get to the police department immediately. It takes them about 40 minutes walking against the heavy wind but they finally reach the building. Tanner, Rudy & Zach begin banging on the door calling for help but nobody is answering. "Where the hell are they? Do you think they took a day off or something?" Zach asks. "Police don't takes days off especially at a time like this. I'll go take a look in back to see if the doors open" Aveline says. Aveline runs back to find any door or window thats unlocked. Rudy senses something is wrong and it's probably a good idea to not check inside. "We didn't come all this way just to turn back now." Danica tells him. Aveline runs back to the group telling them she found an unlocked window. They all run to the back and hop through. As Tanner helps Katie through the window she face plants into the ground. "Are you okay, Katie?!" Tanner asks worried. "I'm okay I just cut my hand a bit." She says. Ethan calls out anyone that might be in the building but all they hear is utter silence and the wind whistling. Nik requests they split in groups. "That has got to be the dumbest thing that has ever come out of your mouth, Nik." Danica tells him. Jerishma thinks it's a good idea. "Nik, take Katie, Aveline & Kixi upstairs. Danica take Zach, Ethan & Tanner down to the basement. Mac, Sam & Rudy, we'll look on this floor." Jerishma directs the groups.
Back with Shannon, she starts to notice Slender hasn't come in for a while to check on her so she gets up to go find where he's at. She finds him next door still standing by the window looking out. "Hi. I came to check up on you. You alright?" Shannon asks. Slender turns around, walks up to her and kindly pushes her out and shuts the door. Shannon doesn't know whats up with him but she finds it as a perfect opportunity to try to get out. She knows she isn't far from the town as she can see the radio station satellite from afar. She grabs her coat, tells the children to stay in the room that she'll be back as soon as she can. Shannon gets to the front door where its nailed shut. She tries to stay as quiet as possible so she grabs the crowbar thats sitting in the corner and gently prying it open. She's been at it for about 11 minutes but getting progress. She then puts everything she got and gets it open. She looks back to see if he heard her. The snow begins to get in and she quickly puts on her hood, shuts the door and start running to the town holding her jacket together. About 10 minutes after she left, Slender walks out of the room and goes to check on the children. He gives them some food & water. One of the kids tells him "Ms. Shannon said she was going to be right back to get us." as she gives him a smile. Slender begins to run to each rooms to see where she's at. He finds the door has been pried open & begins to let out a loud shriek which scares the children. He runs out and lets out his long flailing black tentacles protruding from his back. Shannon can hear the Slender's cry and starts to run faster. She falls a few times in the deep snow but keeps pushing.
"What's that noise? It sounds like a dieing cat." Zach says. "I didn't hear anything. Let's keep looking" says Danica. Tanner finds an old top hat laying on top of all the files of missing people in town in the basement with water stains on them. "What are these doing down here" He asks. Danica has no idea and finds a file of pictures of their group with their faces scratched out. "What could this mean?" Ethan asks. Danica tells him "I'm guessing it planned on having us as it's last meal I'm assuming.". Aveline, Katie, Kixi & Nik begin looking around upstairs. They don't see much but empty offices & a dirty floor. Kixi begins wrapping her arms around Katie's arm telling her she's kind of scared and wants to go home. Katie comforts her saying everything will be fine. As they walk past each room they hear a phone on the other side of the hall ringing. They all look surprised & Kixi is happy a phone is working hoping it's help. As Aveline, Katie & Kixi run to the room, Katie answers the phone & hears herself and her eyes open wide as she realizes someone in the room called the number. "Don't you fucking move or I'll shoot!" Nik says as he enters pointing a gun at them.
Tanner begins to hear someone yelling for help and the others could also hear it so they run upstairs as fast as they can. "HELP!!!!" Shannon yells as shes running past the Police department with Slender not too far from her still letting out an atrocious shriek. Ethan sees her and begins yelling her name. Shannon hears him, sees him at the door & begins running to him. She gives him a huge hug crying as Ethan asks what she was still doing there. Jerishma takes out the black & white crystal, grasps on to it and demands Slender to stop telepathically. She manages to stop him and he disappears. Shannon & Ethan share another hug and Shannon tells him how worried she was. She tells the group that Slender kept her inside a barred up house not far from there with a bunch of children. "Jerishma, I thought Slender only took children?" Mac asks. Jerishma tells him "Yes, yes he does with the exception of...". "I'm pregnant, Ethan! We're having a baby!" Shannon tells him with tears of joy. Ethan is shocked and doesn't know how to respond.
