Since the Slender Man thing was/is a major fear of many people. You could do a setting in a the woods or some dead town filled with Mythical creatures and Legends. It would bring in people who have those fears and create new ones to people who haven't watched. I think this would work out really well.
2. American Horror Story : Shipwrecked
I think it should be themed on a Cruise Boat, where weird paranormal and demonic things begin to happen. Then when the ship crashes and sinks, all hell breaks lose and you could have a really good story line in all of them.
3. American Horror Story : Abduction
This is what I would call my Cowboys vs Aliens season. You tie in the alien involvement from Season 2/4 and you make sense of it by using it in a time period after it occurred and create a whole new story with a western scene/feel.
4. American Horror Story : Summer Camp
Cast a bunch of teenagers who are set off to Summer Camp and encounter all sorts of scary shit. This was just an idea, with a flaw being I don't know how you would expand the story out since camp is so short and it'd get really boring if the series was in one scene the entire time.
5. American Horror Story : Hotel
This one would give you the most freedom. Similar to Murder House, you can have a hotel that features Corrupt Staff Members, Paranormal beings, crazy incidents, the possibilities are endless. Everyone goes to hotels so this would create a general fear and resonate well with the audience.

I think something with creatures in the woods would be so cool. Bigfoot, slenderman, loch ness monster... that would be kind of cool
Tbh I think something with Slavery would be good to showcase, since it would go into dark brutality plus I just want Angelea Bassett to be the lead in it :P
