So the full roster has been revealed through leaked copies of the game being circulated in Taiwan and subsequent Twitch streams of people playing the game. While the roster of 49 characters looks nice on paper, there are some huge issues with it. Sakurai decided, for example, that characters like Wii Fit Trainer, Greninja and 3 fucking Mii's were more important to include than characters people actually wanted like Ridley, Mewtwo and King K. Rool. Hell, if they have not developed the Mii's they could have potentially had time do 3 additional characters in their spots. As far as Wii Fit Trainer and Greninja go, they are just underwhelming because they aren't really popular characters. I mean Grenjina is nice, but I can think of like 10 other Pokemon that would represent the series better than him.
I'm also sad that they made more cuts while bringing back useless shitty characters like Dr. Mario and adding Dark Pit. Wolf, Lucas and Ice Climbers have been cut. I never know what really goes into deciding to cut characters, but I have to imagine that Lucas and Wolf were cut because they were unpopular semi-clones but I can only guess as to why a completely unique smash vet like the Ice Climbers were cut. It probably has to do with technical limitations of the 3DS, which is complete bull shit, if the 3DS version was going to limit the Wii U version, they shouldn't have made it. This is 2 games in a row that Sakurai cut a completely unique character from the game, in Brawl it was Mewtwo and now Ice Climbers.
It's not like I'm not going to buy the game or something drastic now, but I wish that decisions on characters had been made better. Duck Hunt looks pretty interesting, so does Villager and Rosalina, and of course I've got my veteran characters to play as well. PIC RELATED ICE CLIMBERS, NEVER FORGET.

thesexiestdude990 I've never played Xenoblade, so I'm really indifferent on him. I enjoy that he is a unique character and it seems like a lot of people wanted him in the game, so I'm happy he's there. I probably won't play him unless I find his game play really interesting, plus he's a cutie!
hence being called third party characters Moonfelar I mean Sonic is there lol but I love Sonic. Honestly I wasn't too big on Lucas/Wolf myself, Ice Climbers I was sad they didn't make it, I didn't use them much, but they were too cool < 3 Also I think Greninja is a good pick for the pokemon franchise, because it's a ninja , and ninjas = fighters so lol. :P
