is GENIUS. Everything that happens because a person from the future goes to the past happens in the present. This way it doesn't change anything and does not leave the story vulnerable to plot holes. It also explains away the whole "Why didn't Dumbledore just go back in time to kill Voldemort when he was a child" It's simply because he didn't.

They still could change the past. Also it's scary cuz the more times you time travel, the more duplicates of you being created
theuncanny they can't change the past. Everything that happens as a result of a time turner happens in the present. Buckbeak never died, Sirius never received the dementors kiss. The face that somebody in in future came back to the past happens in the present.
