Why did they make Coin so likable?

I thought we were supposed to hate her so that when Katniss kills her we are okay with it? She was way bitchier in the books, it's going to be damn weird when Katniss murders her. I liked Coin in the film a lot, she was portrayed as a pretty great leader and humble. I am going to be upset when she is randomly murdered...

tayswifcarrund33 I believe that was Gale? I think Katniss ends up killing because of the 76th hunger games and Snow's manipulation.

She seems trustworthy at the beginning, Moonfelar.
Loyal to cause and strong in public, but as the book went on, we saw her more desperate side, remember?
She became impatient with Katniss and so on.
Mind you, I haven't seen the movie yet. XD But I thought she was good at first.
