I took 40 people out of my high school class and sorted them 10 each into Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Now I'm doing a BB simulation in which I split challenges into one of four categorys: Skill, Endurance, Physical and Mental. Then I gave each person a ranking from 1-5 in each category of challenges. Each challenge I randomly select the type then I "roll" a die for each point each person has in that challenge, and the person who has the highest total wins that comp. Then I have them nominate people based on who I think they would actually nominate based on real life friendships/rivalries. Then everyone votes to evict based on how I think they would vote. Oh, and each house gets a bonus to one of the challenge categorys. Gryffindor students gets a bonus die to Physical comps, Hufflepuff to skill, Ravenclaw to mental and Slytherin to endurance. 28 people are left in the game, and yes it took me 5 hours to get to that point.
It's basically genius and if you want to do it too go for it. I think the dice thing is a really great system that I came up with, you can do it with a survivor simulation to. I just random.org for the dice.
