I think a BB season of

like YouTube celebrities could be amazing, if they got the big name people instead of less known people I feel like they'd attract. I don't think it would be hard to get these people to go on the show, because they literally just make videos in their house all day. If BB wants the ratings I think they would do it, because I think a ton of people who are fans of certain people on YouTube would want to watch the show who aren't already fans of BB. Some of the big name people who I think they would need to cast include Jenna Marbles, Ian Hecox, Anthony Padilla, Hank Green, John Green. Others would be like GloZell, Kinglsey, Michelle Phan (for some token diversity)(not saying this is a bad thing, just that these are the most likely if they wanted to get diversity) and then some other randoms. (I can think of some, but of course I have no idea who would be popular) (additionally, it would probably be only Americans, considering they have a rule of only allowing Americans on the show) What do you all think of this?

It's actually very dangerous, Moonfelar, especially for the vloggers.
Look up Game Theory's video about how Youtube is broken.
If they were to not upload videos for a month, they could lose access to their subscribers.
ie. The videos won't pop up on their home pages like they normally do.
For the channels with lots of hosts and editors, such as Smosh Games, Sourcefed, Defranco inc., Game Grumps, Polaris, the Fine Bros Reactors(?), Screen Junkies and, I guess, Hank Green, it wouldn't be a problem. They can have people regularly upload videos on their channel.

But for individuals who practically are their channel, such as Glozell, Jenna, Ryan Higa, Dan&Phil, Tyler Oakley and many more, their channels could be in trouble. XD
Youtube is a constant career and taking breaks are dangerous unless you have someone keeping up the channel.
.
ALSO, Youtube has its own reality shows. They had a dancing one for example and another one, but the names escape me....

yoshitomi I think the way Mat Pat phrased it was that if you don't watch a certain proportion of their uploads, then they will stop showing up on your home page. I don't think the time between uploads has anything to do with it (in fact he used the example of pewdiepie who uploads multiple times a day, but was still affected) And don't you think CBS and Google/YouTube would collaborate on this project? For YouTube to allow those channels to suffer would be counter productive, as the profit for YouTube would come from driving up views, and thus ad revenue, of the creators featured on the show. Don't you see YouTube perhaps featuring the evicted house guests on the front page? You're right that they would suffer if they independently went into the show without YouTube helping them out, but even if direct collaboration doesn't happen, I can't see Google not wanting to maximize profits by bringing people to the creators featured on the show..?

yoshitomi also, whos to say that they wouldn't be able to create vlogs for their channel in the diary room and have someone else post them so that they don't get the feed back from the outside world? I really see this venture as a collaboration by CBS and Google, increasing the viewership for both. It's not as narrow as "well, they go on BB so they get fucked" because it certainty wouldn't be a normal season of BB.
