Uhh well it's a western country so we have the benefits of that? Our government is stable, but we have a tradition of warmongering. A lot of people are super patriotic. Umm right now we have elections for our president coming up soon and we have a bunch of loons and Bernie Sanders running. Our public education system needs work, and we don't have universal healthcare. Poor people typically avoid treatment because they can't afford it, which is really unfortunate. We spend so much on the military it makes me baffled and stunned to think about. Lots of people love their guns and have the idea that if things went to shit they'd be able to use their hunting rifles against the governments stealth jets to overthrow it.
