I despise him, he's the scum of the earth. Loved the Punch Out game for Wii but honestly he sucks.
17. Dark Pit
Uninspired vanity clone of a character I don't like. Only above Little Mac because I have a really intense hatred of Little Mac.
16. Cloud
His entrance was hype, but I don't care for him as a character and I don't like his play style. Glad he was included though.
15. Greninja
There's nothing really wrong with it, but there are so many better pokemon than it. When I first got the game I thought I'd hate Greninja the most, but now it's just near the bottom. His design isn't bad.
14. Lucina
She's a clone, but she's at least inspired. I loved FE: Awakening, but she really should have been Chrom. She's not bad though.
13. Bayonetta
Thought I'd like her way more than I do. She's not bad, just not my fave.
12. Pac-Man
He's iconic so I'm glad he's in the game. Not my fave though.
11. Megaman
Love the Mega Man series, he's okay in smash. Glad he was included.
10. Duck Hunt
Really interesting concept, I like it. Probably would have been more exciting for me if I had ever heard of the Duck Hunt game before it was leaked as a playable character lol.
9. Bowser Jr.
He was one of 3 characters I wanted in smash, but I wasn't anticipating him riding his cart. That form grew on me though. He's alright.
8. Corrin
Didn't know anything about this character when it was introduced, and still hold that it should have been the Inklings, but he's a really well designed character. I like him.
7. Palutena
I like her, just not as much as the others on this list.
6. Ryu
Never played a Street Fighter game before and I barley knew who Ryu even was, I wasn't at all expecting to like him at all. He totally defied my expectations and grew on me really quickly. Glad he's in the game.
5. Shulk
Never played Xenoblade, but I absolutley love his monando (sp) system. I hope it gets even better in Smash 5.
4. Villager
He was one of the 3 characters I wanted in smash. He's really interesting and I intended to main him after playing as him in the demo. Other characters eventually beat him out, but I still like him a lot.
3. Rosalina and Luma
She was the last of the 3 characters I wanted in smash, and honestly I don't think I could have hoped for her to be designed better. I love her as a character. That being said, I don't play as her AT ALL. I was not at all comfortable with her playstyle, so I sadly abandoned trying to learn her. Love her to pieces though, and I love watching other people play as her.
2. Robin
Was not expecting him, but he's great! In retrospect it should have been obvious that he would be included over Chrom. He's just fantastic I love everything about this character.
1. Wii Fit Trainer
WOW I never expected to love this character so much. I kinda rolled my eyes when she was introduced but wow I did NOT expect her to be so fucking full of character. I literally died laughing the first time I heard her giving fitness tips in the middle of battle. Jesus Sakurai slayed me so hard with this character.
