11th - Occidentali's Karma by Francesco Gabbani (Italy 2017)
While I don't generally like male vocalists, there are a few exceptions, Francesco being the biggest one (he's the highest solo male performer on my list). There's something I love about Francesco's voice and his entire performance style. His charisma is always through the roof, and I love his slight little rasp in his voice. Occidentali's Karma is also a BOP and the song is just so much fun and memorable and fantastic in general
10th - Taken By A Stranger by Lena (Germany 2011)
Kicking off my top 10 is, in my opinion, the better of Lena's two entries. While I love Satellite, there's something about Taken By A Stranger that makes me love it in a different way. This song is super sultry and I love how the entire performance flows so smoothly with that constant beat in the background. Lena's voice is also mysterious and haunting in this performance, which mesmerizes me from start to finish. Really wish Lena could've won two years in a row...
PS - This is my favorite song from 2011 :)
PSS - I forgot to mention it a few days ago, but Satellite is my favorite from 2010 - Lena is an icon
9th - Dancing in the Rain by Ruth Lorenzo (Spain 2014)
As you all know I love ballads, and this one is no different. Looking back 2014 was a pretty weak year, and this is one of the huge standouts for me. I love how the song starts off soft and in Spanish, and then goes to English and becomes more powerful. Ruth is also a fantastic performer and you can tell that she was really singing her heart out on that stage. Overall, a fantastic song and my favorite from 2014 :)
