I had just gotten out of school, and Survivor Blood .vs. Water had just started, while Big Brother 15 had just ended. I had already been a major Survivor fanatic, watching every episode of every season since Season 16 and was beginning to buy older seasons on DVD so I could hopefully one day say I have watched every season of Survivor completely. But Big Brother was a different story. I had never really watched it, and BB15 was the first full season I have watched, and it really got me hooked, so I did something that most people on this site did when they first joined.......I googled "online big brother and survivor game"
I saw a website called "Tengaged" and was very curious, but it was also the only site after 6 other results in my search that actually seemed like what I wanted. So I decided to make an account.
Then I enrolled in my first ever game. It was a castings ( http://www.tengaged.com/game/100827 ). I met many great people, and managed to finish 4th.
After that, I decided to keep enrolling in games, and from the day I joined to 7 days before my birthday I had gotten to light green level, and met some of the best people in my life, and 7 days after my birthday I bought Dark Green. I was leveling up at a decent pace, and had done it all by myself, besides one crookies charity on my birthday, which is why I bought Dark Green so quickly after Light Green. I'm still here, and its because of the awesome people on this site, as they helped me through a really difficult time in my life, when I finally told my mother I had been considering suicide, and was on the verge of going a long with it (I have been bullied my whole life, but freshman year of high school really sent me into a downward spiral fast). She immediately put me into therapy, and I had went to therapy once a week all summer, and this past Thursday, they told me I didn't need to come into the office anymore unless I start considering suicide again.
Therapy helped me a little bit, but what really helped me was all the amazing people I've met on this site. They were there for me, when really nobody else was. They made me laugh, and smile, even in my darkest hours. This site allowed me to break free of the shell I had been hiding behind irl. On here, I am a little outgoing, humorous, and not afraid of what people will think of me, but irl I am the kid who never talks, avoids people as much as possible, and am afraid of how people see me as a human being.
So I really need to thank everyone on this site, who has made a difference in my life. I'm not gonna tag them because the list would just keep growing, and go on forever.
But enough of the depressing shit. Now onto some happy moments for me.
Again thank you to everyone who made this an amazing first year on TG. I never thought i'd stay on this site this long, but I have done it, and I plan to stay here for a long time. Tagging some of my closest friends on the site. Sorry if I forgot you, I am doing this off the top of my head.
NJ, i am like you irl.. I never interact with people.. It is difficult for me to even walk in front of someone as i am afraid of what they'll think of me(Especially if the person is a female)..and i am going through the exact same thing now that this is my first year of college.. but im glad i met someone like me.. You are amazing and you are like my younger brother!
So always be happy and congratulations! I joined tengaged on 3/oct/2013, so my 1 year anniversary is soon too! :)

omg nick I'm so sorry to hear things were really dark for you but im glad things are getting better and you're feeling much happier! You are a lovely kind guy and its a pleasure to have met you in your first year! i think a few here find tg acts as a way to help if they feel sad or down irl so youre not alone :) so much respect that you blogged this and let me know if youre having a charity frooks because id love to be there! grats on your anniversary buddy!:) xxx
Niiiiiick! I was actually pretty surprised in reading this. I only know you as the bubbly, funny, helpful, really sweet kinda guy. I'm sad you went through some rough times (btw we all do). If i had known something about it i would have done a better job to you as a friend. Some things are hard to talk about but i am a really good listener. Anyway, i'm glad you've found joy on this site and it can be a positive influence in your life. You are a special guy. I care about you lots! Happy anniversary ^_^ ps. Cant wait for your charity!
nick ( NJKoda1998 )i just wanna say how much ive enjoyed getting to know u and u are one of my very best friends on here ;) and u are never alone thats what we are for ;) i myself am a stay at home mom who wonder acrossed this site out of boredom i too have battled depression and have had alot of hard battles along my path i believe these struggles and the pain we endure are what make us such great fighters and so very strong ;) i think u are truly amazing and one of the best people ive found on this site ;)
