More of my thoughts on the premiere and what it might mean in terms of who goes far. I know stuff like that is hard to call (Tyson got 1 confessional in the BvW premiere, and he won the season), so I'm going to wait until the second episode until I make more lively predictions, but here are my thoughts for now.
I don't think we have any justification to pinpoint Dale and Val as "locks" to go far, despite them both having received good edits, especially Dale. Both their edits were strictly circumstantial. For Dale, the editors wanted us, the audience, to feel good that he survived over Nadiya, hence the positive edit, and everything with Val circled around her time on Exile, and how it might affect her short-term game. I'm hoping they both go far but there's nothing right now to 'guarantee', more or less, anything substantial concerning their fates.
On the other hand, I think both Jeremy and Keith got enough of an edit for us to likely predict that they both make it far. And given the fact they are now aligned over that "firefighter" connection, I think Jeremy might actually stab Keith in the back, which will be the OMG!!! EMOTIONAL!!!!11 climax of the season, with Keith giving a Trish Hegarty style FTC speech, OR, Keith ends up being Jeremys undoing. Keith sits back. Jeremy makes all the enemies. They make Finals, Keith wins. Now this is pure speculation, but I could totally see either scenario unfolding.
