Honestly this is such a good season. Overall, everyone was really good last night making it difficult for me to rank #xfactor
1) Lauren Platt
So sweet, so angelic < 3 Best performance of the night by far.
2) Ben Haenow
He is probably my favourite male vocalist this year and totally lived up to what I had expected tonight.
3) Only The Young
They're so much fun and have been my favourite group. Come On Eileen is way overused but they made it contemporary as Louis said.
4) Fleur East
She's one of my favourites and I love every part of her performances but I agree with Mel B that she was difficult to hear during the chorus. Too much backing track and backing vocal.
5) Lola Saunders
Fish goddess < 3 This was a good week for Lola and she sung well.
6) Jay James
I thought the song choice would have left me feeling empty but he really made it unique and finished powerfully.
7) Paul Akister
Strong male vocal. He's not my personal favourite guy this year but he sung really well.
8) Stevi Ritchie
He is like an older straight Rylan < 3 Even though he's more-so a novelty act, there's no denying he is enjoyable and natural.
9) Stephanie Nala
Back with a vengeance and ready to destroy her haters < 33 I honestly feel bad for Stephanie since I really like her, but she's probably screwed. As for her performance, I loved the reggae vibes which intrigued me but agree with Mel B that the middle was boring.
10) Andrea Faustini
Ehh, I like Andrea but his performance left me feeling empty, which I can't necessarily explain.
11) Jack Walton
He has a unique voice and I think he made the song sound fresh but I wasn't all that crazy for him this week and felt as if his vocal lacked in places.
12) Chloe Jasmine
I'd understand if somebody disliked Chloe as she may not have the most appealing personality for everyone, and the same goes for her style. I personally liked her style but felt as if her performance strayed from the expectation and sounded toneless at times.
13) Stereo Kicks
The song fit them well but their performance sort of passed me by. It was good but by no means impressionable, for me at least.
14) Jake Quickenden
I like him and liked the song choice but I found him to be boring :S
