The vote could have flipped tonight as John and Steve were legitimately considering it, but Meg and James had an extremely weak campaign. They almost had no campaign at all.
Their master plan was to get Austin to vote against Julia so that they could pin his vote on Steve, "Operation Trojan Horse". They relay this to John (who would be the third vote for Meg to stay), who recommends they get Steve on board as well in order to expose Austin so that Liz/Vanessa would be pissed at him for flipping as well. Meg then has a five minute conversation with Austin where he flat out tells her that he can't vote out his girlfriends sister, and Meg lies down dead for the rest of the day.
I mean, WTF? First off, you can't expect John to willingly vote Julia out and let his closest ally (Steve) take all the blame if Austin does in fact vote Julia out as well. Meg and James should have campaigned to Steve tonight as John recommended but they haven't spoken to him whatsoever. And the funny thing is that Steve was legitimately considering the flip but was afraid that James/Meg would team up with Austin/Liz afterwards, because neither James nor Meg have given Steve any reassurance.
I really hope they pull a successful last ditch effort tomorrow morning.
