While there are a few Danish cliches thrown in (songs like Anthony and Calling Mercury are in every year), it's not a bad selection as a whole. A lot of pop drops. Slightly disappointed with Calling Mercury because Martin Luke Brown helped write the song so I thought I would maybe like it. Johanna's song is straight from the mid-2000's lol (September or Velvet, anyone?), but I like it. Anja Nissen is a big disappointment, and I think her song sounds super generic. It's the same situation with Kasia in Poland, where I thought she had a much better song last year.
Thomas, Sada and Ida are the best ones IMO. #eurovision

Almost exact same rankings. Just swap René and Jeanette. REALLY into Thomas Ring's entry, but like you, would also be happy with Sada/Ida, and fine with a few of the others.
