I don't think people on this website actively disliked the Brigade on BB12. I think it more that they were so CLEARLY dominating the game and obviously going to make finals, that people rooted against them so that there was some kind of power switch.

The same for BB16 (bar Frankie). I didn't really like Nicole (found her a bit annoying) and I didn't hate Derrick/Cody/Caleb but I wanted people like Victoria/Nicole to win challenges in the hopes that one of them would leave to make the end-game more interesting and unpredictable.
